You have spoken truth in this statement about 'religion', people walk away from religion because 'organized' religion is like a social club.

When people truly accept Yeshua HaMoshiach [Jesus the Messiah] they don't walk away. This why Yeshua called His people a little flock; organized religion is massive.

From my studies [as listed by some here] I have found that the word religion comes from 'religare' which means to bind or have unionization.

Since Sanskrit is the oldest language recorded, it is believed today that Vedic Hinduism and Zoroastrianism are considered the oldest organized religions.

Of course being a Messianic Jew, I still believe that the Abrahamic religion is still the oldest as Adonai's creation was ordained [set forth] before the foundations of the earth was laid.

I am an Irish Messianic Jew, and we are as divided as the Protestants about what we believe.

I havemuch to say about this subject but I am to tireds tonight, but I will say:

Adonai's word says ALL have to go the the tribulation but not ALL have to go through the BOWL Judgments.

The tribulation is for the 'Israel of Adonai' [not to be confused with the House of Israel (which were NOT all Jews)] found in Gal 6:16. Because of the 'coming in' of the Gentiles, Paul clearly tells us that the 'Israel of YHWH' is now the Jews and the Believing Gentiles combined.

Because they have not been called by the Father to Yeshua/Jesus.

He said He could not reveal the Father to anyone who has not been called to Him by the YHWH.

For me, they would not have to be Jewish but they would have to be Messianic in faith [which is different than being of Chrisitan faith]. If they aren't Messianic in faith, I feel the strength of the marriage would be compromised by the differences. I do however occassionally date outside of the Messianic faith.

I was raised in an Evangical United Brethren Church until the age 14 when I found my Irish Jewish roots, and then from the age of 14, I have been a practicing Messianic Jew [the Jews who Believe in the Messiah].
