I'm not comfortable around people I don't know. Going on a date with someone I know nothing about is not appealing to me. It would be awkward and I know whoever I was with would be seeing me at my worst, instead of at my best. Going out and having fun with a friend, on the other hand, sounds much better to me. So if I can get to know someone online first and make friends with them, then I can look forward to date with them instead of dreading it.
Assuming that the spaceship had transwarp drive (because it would be foolish to attempt to tour the entire universe with only standard warp drive) The trip shouldn't take too long, so all I would need is:
The day's not over yet. Maybe you can still have a happy day. Have you thought about going out and treating yourself to something fun. A movie, a shopping spree, a great big ice cream sundae? Whatever you love to do.
I'm starting this thread to see if we can put on smile on someone's face today. Anyone need a smile today? Need a hug? Maybe you just need some kind words. This is the place to come. Ok everybody let's turn some frowns upside-down!
We kept the freindship too. In the three months since we broke up (yes my story was that recent) we've been writing to each other once or twice a week, just not everyday like before. And we don't take trips to see each other anymore.
It wasn't meant to be for us either, but I think I need to find my second love before I can say I'm not sorry it ended.
Mine was an immigrant from Kenya who was in the U.S. studying nursing. Shortly after we met, she was offered a scholarship to a school in Texas and moved there. We kept in touch and later decided to take a trip together. We fell in love on that trip and decided to try a long distance relationship until she finished school and moved back to Maryland. Sadly, the relationship ended less than six months later when she realized that she had made a life for herself in Texas and decided to stay there. Gosh I miss her.
That's how I read it too. My guess is he has feelings for you, but doesn't want to put any pressure on you to return those feelings. He wants you to choose to be with him because it's what you want.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to this site. Looking to find someone special. I'm the shy type until I get to know someone, so I'm trying to fight my instincts and put myself out there more, because I know from other sites that just waiting for someone else to make the first move doesn't work.
Well, please wish me luck! Hope everyone here has a wonderful day!
RE: Does size really matter?
Size does matter. The size of your heart.
