I know there are no figures available,but i wonder how many actually get caught out by these scams. Sad that they prey on trusting or sometimes desperate people.
Well,did he know about it all the time,authorise the phone tapping? Has she got that recorded? By doing what he is doing,is he looking for damage limitation,ie,seen to be an honourable person by closing the paper,so it doesnt affect his TV aspirations. A smoke screen,throw the others to the wolves?
