Dating someone with a name you don't really like ?

Maybe it's just me, but I've always had a little problem with dating someone with a name that I have already put on my 'love to hate' list.

For instance my ex father is Stuart. I did date a tall dark handsome guy unfortunately named Stuart some years ago. Just couldn't get my head around the name though. It didn't last.

Obviously other ex's names are now on my 'love to hate' list. ie: Ben(wilhelmus) and Andrew.


Do any of you have a problem with dating the ex's namesake....or is it just me ???

The joy of being online. As MB said, they have more 'balls' on here because they can be anonymous...so they just give it a go. None of them would be game enough to say 'boo' to you in real life.


Just brush them off, and enjoy the company of everyone else. We quite often have a grumble amongst ourselves on the Oz forum about people not reading our profile, least of all the required partners age bit !
