RE: How old are you?..........do you remember these?...............

That reminds me of when it wasn't a criminal offence to teach children right from wrong.

I remember when it was safe for 8 year old kids to walk 3 blocks to the butcher for mum.

I remember hiding up my plum tree too....but that was when this guy I didn't like kept coming around laugh

I remember when a ringing phone only had one sound

RE: How old are you?..........do you remember these?...............

I remember when colour tv began.

...and when money was made of paper

...and when we had 1cent and 2 cent pieces

...and when lollies from the corner store were 5 for 1 cent.

...and when we had corner stores !

...and when I knew everyone in town

...and when lasers were something fantastic in a comic book

roll eyes wink

RE: Time Heals All Wounds

Understand you completely wave bouquet

Don't get me wrong though.......I don't waste time dwelling on these people or the things they did. Life is too short for that hug

RE: Time Heals All Wounds

Hi Hugz wave Just the way I am I guess. If someone crosses me, they go on my 'blacklist' and generally stay there.

Forgive and forget....to me that is just letting them get away with whatever they did. wink

RE: Time Heals All Wounds

No, time doesn't heal, nor do we forget or forgive in time either. thumbs down

RE: It's a new car...

Gold Saab convertible yay

RE: Do You Respect "Death"

I nearly drowned once when I was younger. If I had a choice on how to go I would pick that, because it was actually very peaceful.roll eyes

RE: "mind"

I would say the presence of 'mind' is within the soul. angel

RE: Do You Respect "Death"

Well I don't know about respect, but I am not afraid of what the future holds. It is just another chapter...and not one that we can avoid, so acceptance of the inevitable makes it easier.roll eyes

RE: Men" do you ever grow up.

Well I think I still have a bed, so might go and use it.

Goodnight everyone ... well those who are still up and about anyway

RE: Men" do you ever grow up.

Now there is some sound advice.

Martia, I think our latest thread troll has been axed, his nasty last letter has disappeared.

Good news heh ? yay

RE: Hi I am BusCarl and am new here

Sounds like you got stung Carl, I hope not. hug

RE: Men" do you ever grow up.

Hey Martia wave don't despair. I am sure there are some mature ones around. Although I admit what we have seen of male maturity lately, leaves one to ponder.

We are all bashing our heads against the brick wall too. If they are not too young then they are too old. Nothing around the designated age group...unless it happens to be miles and miles away of course.

Stick with it...wine

RE: on the move

It will be a terrific experience for you CGD, go for it. peace

RE: One last thread before I snuggle up in my bed with memories and dreams.

Goodnight to you wave

RE: What's the difference between a single and married man?

flirty Might only be two lines, but it speaks volumes lips

RE: Going under.

It's a personal choice. If your doctor feels it is possible under a local anesthetic than do it that way.

Personally though, I have had more than my fair share of ops and am still here....so something must work. wink

RE: --- Love Food---

RE: --- Love Food---

Nothing beats the old BBQ thumbs up

RE: I don't like to spend the rest of my life alone I need to share, to be loved and love in return.

Good advice, but we are pretty isolated here....at least Canada and USA are linked by land teddybear

Still I have learnt the hard way to keep my options open. I have probably blown one good one already by doubting. Forgot where I parked that darn time machine or I'd go back and change that. laugh

As for you...you seem to be such a lovely person, I wish you all the happiness you deserve hug
