I have had both during my life and it is very real and scary. I only suffer now from the anxiety when I get obsessed with something and can not let it go. Or forget to take my depression medicine and get a short lived anxiety.
I had OCD for a while and had to check locks, tires on the car etc. I was put on Luvox and for me it was a miracle drug. I was on it for many years and since have went off it. I no longer have the compulsion to check things. Thank Goodness!
Now with the depression I will have to stay on my medicine for probably the rest of my life. I think it is hereditary in my family! As far as I could trace on my fathers side of the family they all had this problem.
I hope you are able to find the right doctor to help you and treat you with this. My heart goes out to you.
And as far a running all the men away...when you find the right one. He will support you and help you and not care.
I remember when I was a child and after church we would go to grandmothers on my mothers side. My grandmother had 7 boys and 7 girls. And smelling the fried chicken and home made noodles. Us kids playing in the farmers next door hay loft. Watching them milk the cows and them mating. The younger cousins would go back and talk about the cow having such a large carrot...lol. Us older kids would get in trouble for it but never really understood why.
On July the 4th my family would get together and have a cook out. Mom always made home made banana ice cream. I can smell a banana to this day and my mind takes me back to those days. Turning the hand crank on the ice cream freezer.....those were the days.
I joined here around Oct or Nov last year and he contacted me Feb 3. We have been sending email, cards, flowers since that time. And it has moved to telephone conversations now. It is new and exciting. That is all I really want to say on here about it.
I have it down to around 30 minutes. Shower and wash hair. Put on moisturizer, foundation, blush, eye shadow and eye liner and powder, mascara. Blow dry my hair, spray hair spray, spritz on some perfume and out the door. I do pluck my eye brows and color my hair when needed. Occasionally I polish my nails. And rarely do I ever leave the house without doing all the above. After doing it for so long you have in done in no time.
I had a 1995 Thunder bird that I traded in on my focus. And I loved this car for 10 years and the gas mileage was good as well. But when the transmission when out I got rid of it. But I had to park the Thunderbird during the winter. Can you say sled!
