Long winded but sounds great! lol. I agree though religion has this snobby attitude and if people don't fit in then they are less in the world. I'm right, your wrong, this is true, this is false and if you don't agree then you don't belong is just stupid and narrow minded. They claim to love all their brothers and sisters but if you don't act like them or pretend anyway lol then your nothing. I grew up in a religious family and I have even had my own blood turn their nose at me because I am not in the religion they are in... they would never come out and say it but their actions show me they think they are better then everyone else. Sad!

Yes I do but I am wondering where someone like fits in... if I do lol and where I can find others instead of religious people telling me I can't be like this and not religious! Sick of hearing that!

lol yes I am! As of right now I am reading about Rastafarian beliefs so this is just another attempt and as of now I like that it's a movement not religion plus a few co-workers/friends of mine believe in it and they joke all the time I am but just don't know it lol. I am still discovering so many things! I'm getting info here on cs too so this helps!

Hey thanks! I never really thought of that and for years I as just flat out confused lol. Just recently I realized that religion is not for me but like I said it's always hard explaining to others you believe in God and Jesus but not man made religion because I think that's what it is... man made just like material! lol.
I will check this out and see if there is something near me, thank you very much for the info!

Cali, Cali, Cali..... I lost all hope for them when they that actor won for governor.... I don't care how many dumb commercials they play over and over here in Canada saying "So come visit us" "Find yourself here" I will never live there and this one of the many good reasons!

I get so frustrated when I tell people I believe in God and Jesus but I don't believe in religion... in fact I am dead against it all together! It kills, lies and uses the word of God to make millions of dollars.... so..... why is it so wrong to say I am just as much a Christian as anyone else? I have spent years looking into and even attending different churches and religions to see if one of them feels right to me and guess what...... I have come to the conclusion that every religion thinks they are...................
"THE RIGHT ONE" "THE REAL ONE" and I'm sorry but if you love God and all your bothers and sisters how can you be so narrow minded? I believe in the bible too but I don't believe in re-writing it so that people today can understand it... leave it as is!!!!! Don't mess with a good thing! I have given up on religion all together but I will not give up on MY FAITH! I just wonder if there are other people out there who feel the same way and if so........ where do we go to be with others who feel the same? Sometimes it's nice to be surrounded by others of the same mentality!

The Secret

Yes exactly! I think it's a great mind frame to have! It makes alot of sense and I was just speaking with someone here at work and they were saying "what is the secret? isn't that common sense?" and my reply was "no it's not common sense" We are living in a world filled with wars, fighting, violence, anger and negative vibes, it is very very hard to stay positive for some and for others it seems impossible. We were not meant to be this way but given the environment and all that we have to deal with daily in out personal lives and watching tv, this can be something hard to master so I'm thankful for the book and movie... regardless if it has not been a secret... it was a secret to me and it works

Alot of priests were found out to be child molesters and fakes.... does that mean the bible is no good now? You should not cast of all the writers just because one of them may or may not have been a conman. In no way am I saying The Secret is even close to the bible though... just making a valid point. b

You sound really bitter about it. Where is this info because I never even heard about this. Is there some article that I missed? Maybe you can post the facts instead of just typing it because then I would maybe take it for real. Even if the secret has been out there for a long time.... if there is a book or movie that helps people then so what..... it helps them! It teaches people how to use this and apply it to their lives so really is it a scam? People in the church use the bible to teach people and they didn't write it, create it but they still use it as a tool to teach others so you think that's a scam too? The secret has not gone quiet, I don't know where your coming from but spending a little money on a book or movie is hardly praying on innocent people. If people can waste thousands of dollars are meaningless things every year then a book or movie that could help you in life instead of just making you feel good in the moment is a great buy.... nuff said?

I'm really happy to hear that it has worked for all of you I am still practicing and I still catch myself at times falling back into negative thinking but I try my best and I see great progress compared to a year ago in my life.

The Secret

I just wanted to know if anyone here knows of or believes in The Secret. If you don't know about it then you can check it this website to get full details http ://www.thesecret.tv/ The law of attraction is more powerful then you think and in my own experience this has been very true and I have had much success after watching the movie and practicing it myself. Turn negative thoughts into positive ones, attract good things instead of bad just by changing you way of thinking. Stressed? Unhappy? Lonely? Depressed? Overwhelmed? or you just can't find the answer? Trust me when I say with a little practice and knowledge this will help you in ways you can't imagine. This is not magic or religious or some kind of weird spells, witchcraft etc. I believe in God/Jehovah/The Lord and The son of God/Jesus Christ but I also believe alot of the bad things that come into our lives are attracted by us without even knowing it. The brain is more powerful then we could ever know and it's estimated that most people will only use about 10% of their brain in their lifetime (just an estimate) but if true... what about the other 90%??? I think we are able to do much more then we know and I also think The Secret helps others to discover this.

Ever remember this people.... maybe not because I'm 22 and considered a "child" on this site said by sooooo many people lol STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES BUT WORDS WILL NEVER HURT ME!!! haha I use tyo sing that all the time as a child and the same goes now as a grown woman! Boo hoo if someone calls you a name or gets under your skin...DEAL WITH IT! It's just words and don't live in function of others... after all these people don't pay your bills, don't live your life and they have no effect on you at the end of the day so I say TOLERATE IT!

Do I respect it? = Yes. My way I'm thinking is like this.... if you were meant to go then you were meant to go... as morbid as that sounds God has a plan for everyone (I'm not religious) but I do believe if you were meant to spend a certain time on earth then that is what will happen. We all don't like it when someone close to us is gone but we have to understand that we are born, live and then die. It's just the way it is and for some it's an accident or natural but it's happening and always will.

Sorry but I'm not here to pat him on his shoulder and sugar coat my thought because he is so educated and wise beyond his years and he was sent here to educate all of us with his great and wonderful teachings! I'm a blunt person... plain as that so if someone does not like it then they can just not reply, grab a tissue and have a good cry or keep blabbing the same ridiculous theory.

WOW! Do you really think everyone and everything came from the big bang theory because that's exactly what you just explained but you juiced it up to make it "sound" normal.
