It has been a few years since I have dealt with these time frames but I think they are still right. I use to be a member of a local Car club and we would put on several car shows a year. I had a 76 Malibu Classic until my ex wrecked it and said he could fix it. Which never happened. lol
For my family it a trandition of our own not really of our country. I will agree that Christmas has become commerialized and we all play into it. However, my children and I speak openly about it and its true meaning and what we are truely celebrating. Here comes the twist though, I was born of a Jewish mother and because of that I am Jewish by birth. Through the help of my Grandma I try and keep some of the Jewish traditions as well. So, not only do we, my family, have a Christmas tree that awaits Santa, but we also light Menorah Candles and recite the pray that goes with that. When my children are older then they will decide if this is something they want to continue.
Well for Valentines Day several years ago my ex told me he didn't love me anymore and that our infant son and I needed to move out. This was after him did not come home until after 11:30pm.
I would do whatever it takes to prove to him he matters and that someone truely gives a damn. There is one that I talk to all the time and I hope he knows this. I want him to know that I will always be there for him as long as he wants me to be. Even if it is me driving the 2.5-3 hours in one of Ohio's lovely winter storms to be there when he needs me.
There have been to many occurence for many years in my family not to believe. I have had a few of my own but there a four that have always stood out. I had a freind die in an accident the night before I was to fly to AZ. I didn't find out about it until I landed and called home. I was unable to get back in time but he came to me in my dreams for the next five days. I had told him yrs before that he would die young and in an accident. When my grandpa passed away in 1998 he died at about 3am at that very momment I woke up with a instant migraine and a rise in my blood pressure. It was like a therm. being stuck in very hot water. When I was told later the morning that he had past I asked what time. It was at the same time that had occurred to me. That very night I had made the choose to leave an abusive relationship but was not sure how I was going to do it. My ex thought I was doing the family things , which I was, but I was also arranging what I needed to so I could leave. The big one though was when my oldest son was born I had complications and I nearly gave my life to my son. When I returned to the room after an emergency c-section I looked at my son and told him that his greatgrandpa was there with us. This is the one that past in 1998. My mom asked what I had said I told her he was there that I could feel him. Once we were stable he was gone. When youngest son was born early I felt him again when I went to the NICU unit that my son was transfered to. The night before he was to go home he forgot to breathe and started to turn blue. My gandpa had a medical background. So, I believe that he was there to take care of me and my boys when noone else could.
Yeah I think I am going to have to buy this book. Plus, there is someone that I am sure would be more than willing to help me find out how many positions we can do. ;)
Many of you have already said that your heart will know. I do believe that to be true, but somewhere along the line you have to just breathe and take a leap. You just never know what the future holds. There is a saying that I have came across several times it is something like this ... "I build walls around me not to keep people out, but to see who might decide to climb over them"
Hi everyone, I figured it was time to introduce myself to the CS group. My names Vanassa, but please call me Ness. Just here to make friends and if I am lucky I might find my bestfriend for life. There are many things that I enjoy doing but I am always up for something new. Well, you just never know you might like it. lol
I hope to make some great friends on here. So, please drop me aline and say hi.
I close my eyes Only for a moment and the moment's gone All my dreams Pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind All they are is dust in the wind
Same old song Just a drop of water in an endless sea All we do Crumbles to the ground Though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind All we are is dust in the wind
Ohh...
Now don't hang on Nothin' lasts forever but the earth and sky It slips away And all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind All we are is dust in the wind (All we are is dust in the wind) Dust in the wind (Everything is dust in the wind) Everything is dust in the wind
