Especially on a day like today this is a fine place to be. I shall not complain as the rain will also make things green and help the flowers to bloom.

Nice to see you BJ Have a great day. As soon as the snow melted and they were given the okay my sons were out on the golf course.

It is more than just a nice rain Conrad it is a torrential down pour. Guess where my umbrella is? Yeppers, out in my vehicle. Now if you were my neighbor I would risk getting drenched just to pop over to your place and bury my face in yours. Can't say it enough, I LOVE YOUR WHISKERS

Hi Conrad, The bad thing is it was an $80.00 coffee maker. I made myself some cowboy coffee, damn does it have a bite to it. When it quits raining I shall run to Dollar General and buy a cheapy.

Coffee means: Come over for free energy everyday.

Why do people who only eat natural foods drink decaf coffee?

When you drink coffee out of a tea cup can you still call it a tea cup?

Where does the brown go from coffee when you drink it.

If Maxwell House coffe is good to the last drop, what's wrong with the last drop?

Why is it that once you get a mouthful of too hot coffee whatever you do next is gonna be wrong?

What do they do with the caffeine leftover when they decaf coffee?

Is instant coffee so called because there is only one instant when it tasted like real coffee?

If you drink a whole pot of coffee and then go to bed, do you dream in fast forward?

If you brewed decaf coffee with caffeinated water would you go mad?

Why doesn't coffee taste the way it smells?

If coffee and tea stain your teeth brown why doesn't milk stain them white?

Why is coffee without cream and sugar called black? Isn't coffee brown?

How much caffeine can something have in it before it is illegal?

Wouldn't the only thing that wakes you up faster than coffee be hot coffee spilled in your lap?

Time Together :-)

I'm so glad we had this time together. A drink or two in Desmonds bar, a laugh or three at jokes, advice from Pat, even if it was not always his own.

But time for Sassy to let her brain kick in and get the hell out of Dodge.

This Is In My Senior Newsletter

Let me get this straight....we are trying to pass a health care plan written by a committee, whose chairman says he doesn't understand it.

Passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it.

To be signed by a President that also is exempt from it and who hasn;t read it and who smokes.

With funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese.

And financed by a country that's broke.

What the hell could go wrong?

Seems we are heading for some very unhealthy people.

Sharing Personal Info When In Relationship

I also believe in the trust factor. My last SO and I had different bank accounts but I nver kept anything from him and I knew about his bank info. Things were somewhat complicated when we parted after only 2 years. But it all worked out and just chalked it up to another learning experience.

If and when it ever happens again I will trust him with my personal info and hopefully he will do the same. I have no need for a pre-nup.

But when it comes to past relationships, which I have only had 2 in my life, I don't think all of that needs to be shared. It is the past and I will be on a future journey.

I agree, there are times when I just did not give a damn. Then I would pick up a book and sometimes finish it before putting it down. My memory is not as quick as it used to be, but one I read a few months back was,'THE SHACK", can't remember the author.

Book Learnin':-)While Drinking My Coffee

A book is like a garden carried in the pocket.

A good book is not one that we read, but one that reads us.

Nowadays it seems that more books are read in laundromats than in libraries.

The one book that always has a sad ending is a check book.

In a library, the books that are not dirty are the ones that are dusty.

A poor appetite for good books eventually leads to intellectual freedom.

No entertainment is so cheap as reading, nor any pleasure so lasting.

The Bible is not only the worlds best seller, it is a persons best purchase.

There is one thing you can say for a book. It does not interrupt at the most interesting part for a word from the sponsor.

Book lovers never go to bed alone.

A good book has no ending.

This little tidbit from Sassy: One of my favorite books to read as a youngster was, (UNCLE TOMS CABIN) I read it many times and everytime I cried. Now I think I will go on-line later and see if I can find it.
