RE: whats that youre eating?

Drinking coffee and snacking on some peanut butter and cheese crackers. But I wouldn't eat a peanut butter and cheese sandwich on a dare.

RE: Say Something Good!!!!

The Eagles are up by 14 over the Cowboys!

Was this a fair call. . .

Thanks for your help, guys. I still think it was an unfair call, but at least now I understand why it was called.

RE: Interesting facts about yourself

In 1990, I bought my first new car - a '90 Honda - and I still drive it. There are just under 58,000 miles on it

I do not own a cell phone

I got Englebert Humperdinck's autograph when I was 13

I have 642 vinyl albums

I have a tatoo

You must be kidding! Looks like he's gonna need more than just a snow angel looking over his shoulder. cheering

Was this a fair call. . .

Fair enough, but was it for dropping to the ground or making snow art?

RE: Food to share . . . . any good recipes out there?

Hot Mexican Dip (some call it Walking Taco)

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup diced onion
1/3 cup taco sauce
1 can refried beans
1-1/2 cups Monterey Jack cheese
Shredded lettuce
1 medium tomato, diced
Sour cream

In a large skillet, cook onions and ground beef; drain and return to pan. Stir in taco sauce, beans and 1-1/4 cups of cheese, and heat, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted. Pour over a layer of shredded lettuce in a serving dish, top with fresh diced tomato, dollops of sour cream, and remaining cheese. Serve with Fritos and/or tortilla chips.

Great for the upcoming Super Bowl festivities!

RE: Great movie quotes.

"They pay you a hundred and sixty-two dollars and thirty-nine cents a week to look at dead bodies, why can't you look at this one?"
"Why can't you look at it yourself?"
"Because I'm not an expert . . .OFFICER!"

Was this a fair call. . .

My sentiments, exactly! Thanks. angel

What's your favorite?

As a young child, my mom used to wash my hair in the kitchen sink. To this day, I still find it easier that way than in the shower. Doing it that way brings to mind my favorite blond joke (no offense to all you wonderful blonds out there):
Why do blonds wash their hair in the kitchen sink?

That's where you wash vegetables. laugh

What are some other faves?

RE: Great movie quotes.

An exchange with Jo Beth Williams character in Switch -
Q: "Lady, do you know how many animals had to die for you to wear that coat?"
A: "Lady, do you know how many men I had to f**k to GET this coat?"
BRILLIANT, though I'm not an advocate.

RE: I BET NONE OF YOU ARE EVEN INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO DISCUSS WHY THEY CREATED THE UNIVERSE WHO MADE GOD

Oh Gilly, Gilly, Gilly.
Tater - any introspection for Gilly on this?

RE: And the cat came back......

I recently took in a stray I had seen hanging out with a couple of my other felines over the warmer months. He is a beautiful silver grey, and because he is still timid and leary of things bigger than he is, and nobody but my son and I see him, he is appropriately named Grey Ghost. I don't know who is luckier - him or us - but we're certainly blessed to have him in our family.

RE: Strange Names

Thanks, Diamond789! Several years ago, my friend Lisa Luong married the love of her life, Keye Duong. You must imagine the laughter her new name inspired: Lisa Luong Duong. It was all in good fun. boogie

RE: My Favorite Book. Yours?

I'm always torn - it's either Simon's Soul by Stanley Shapiro and Aztec by Gary Jennings.

Was this a fair call. . .

I don't know who nor when the Patriots were playing, but it was at Foxboro, maybe three weeks ago (tops), in the snow and a really cold temp. A TD was scored by a Patriot, maybe 3rd or 4th quarter. He stood for a half a second then dropped to his knees. I believe as an after thought, in the spirit of the snow and the holiday, he made a snow angel. He was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for I don't know how many yards. Was he penalized for dropping to his knees in the end zone or for playing in the snow? Does the real motive behind the angel making action matter if that's the reason for the flag? Do you agree or disagree with this penalty? confused

RE: What does it mean, if a men tells you 'he likes you as his wife, but he doesn't love you' ?

You forgot one - he is sooooo cheating on her.
