I felt great when i started reading this post! What a lovely thing to read after a long day! But then I read on I began to feel a bit lost in the crowd of your hot list....
You do seem like a lovely person and seeing the good in other people is a beautiful character trait. But see the good in yourself too and make sure everyone respects that and takes care of your feelings too.
Ok, I see you said it is his ex wife. All the more reason for him to tell her so she doesn't hear it elsewhere. I think the stepping back is a good idea for many reasons. Firstly you are not being over dramatic and it leaves him space to let things settle with his ex. And like you say, it prevents you and him getting closer before the time is right and lightens possible hurt for you.
The bottom line here is, having a new girlfriend 4 months after your marriage ends is probably a bit soon and likely to be the reason for his secretiveness...
OK... well I would be concerned then. He should have nothing to hide unless he is hoping to get a second chance with her and doesn't want this effected by what is going on his life now.
Besides, dishonesty hurts much more than someone being told in a sensitive way. If he isn't prepared to do that, I think i would just tell him you would like to take a step back until such time as he is in a position to openly have a partner.
I think you should ask the Mercantile to let you do the bar the night of the meet! You seem very good at it and you will already know what everyones tipple is....

I don't accept your version of events. I am very familiar with JLM's posts and do accept her version of events. Not to mention that another lady had the same experience with you that night.
Just for the record and to have your version of events, which seems fair, did the other woman that claimed you m**turbated on cam uninvited, invite you too and just jump on the band wagon to make you look bad? Also, whether you were aware or not, there was an inter female chat about your uninvited antics in the past....
Actually, it is closer to go to Jervis and cross river and cut through Temple bar! I could do local guide for people travelling up from the country!!! Stand at Jervis all day waiting with a big CS sign held up like people in the airport.....
