RE: responses.

To elaborate on my own response to this post! I meant the response I get to politely declining dates from men I wouldn't date. In my case usually under 30s who think the age gap is not an issue.

I do enjoy the craic on the forums from time to time and interacting with people on the site too, but I would love to find someone around my own age and taller than me, even marginally(!) to date...

When/if he contacts me I will be saying yes...
grin

RE: responses.

Nope... happens all the time! Men always say it is better to be honest and then when you are they get nasty. I find it upsetting if I am honest....blues

RE: Working for free

I know... very annoying! He reckoned he was keeping these ladies out of his taxes and then they got new partners who he thought should foot the bill!

RE: Working for free

Some guy in my area told the social welfare on a few of the single ladies with children who had boyfriends(not the father of the child/children I hasten to add)who stayed over. He reckoned they shouldn't get their welfare if there was a man on the scene again. PR..K mumbling

RE: Women seeking women...

I am not sure I am fanatical about them at this stage! But certainly that way inclined.....

I am always amazed at how many people read the forums and never post! Any time I post I get many more flowers and emails than when I go quiet....

RE: Women seeking women...

I don't get any emails from women! Well, not that kind anyway.... but the fact that you do might be coz in some of your forum posts you seem open to it, what with the flirting with Crazylegs and that.....wink So they might think you would be easily converted!!grin

RE: Working for free

There are also insurance issues.... they should pay insurance for you even if you are not on the pay roll.

Sorry to sound negative A.... but you do need to be careful. I think this is an unusual situation that you volunteer for a profit making organisation. Always worth covering your self as especially as you will be seen signing on and being a night porter!

Do admire your initiative.....lips

RE: Working for free

Just let them know.... a friend of mine who worked for one of the homeless charities was in this situation.

RE: Working for free

You know that strictly speaking you should give up your dole as you are not AVAILABLE for work due to this volunteering. Might be worth clearing it with them....hug

RE: Working for free

In an ideal world this situation would play out at face value and Adrian would get his experience etc...

Unfortunately though, the situation is wide open to exploitation and I do agree with you that if he is keen and dedicated, as I think he will be, the possibility to lay off a salaried employee is a strong one. Why pay when you can get it for free.... it is a business after all.
