Giving my experience and that experience being very different to what you were saying, does not amount to me telling you your opinion was wrong. I just do not agree with you. There is a big difference.

The most attractive guy physically I met online had no pic up, nor did he send me one before we met. Got a great surprize! Also the added bonus of him saying he was 6 ft online, when in reality he must be at least 6' 2''! Bliss for me!! So there ya go...
I don't think I have ever been rude to anyone but admit I wouldn't reply to faceless profiles that say very little. I have stated here before that I do feel awkward about ignoring, but also fear a negative response to rejection and equally I would prefer silence to a mail saying no thanks if I had made the first contact.
Anyway, tonight I just noticed a testimonial on my profile from someone I responded to politely and asked for a pic. I did state that it was his choice not to send one, but I like to see who I am talking to. Anyway the interaction between us did nothing to endear him to me, so pic or no pic I wasn't going to continue the chat. Then I find he puts a negative comment up on my profile which I think I can not remove...
Met a guy for a quick drink.... 6 ish, easy exit kind of thing. I got the first drink coz he didn't get to his wallet quick enough, on go slow! Then it transpired that he knew me from my job and hadn't bothered to mention it. He had seen me 5 days a week at a distance for 3 months. Second drink offered by waitress... he proceeded to count out 10 cents and 20 cents onto the table to pay her. Took a mortifying age...
Lasted an torturous hour! He kept turning up at my job for about 2 years! Got the hint then!
