I would like to ask the people of Ireland for some support!!
After all the shenanigans over the last few years we are slowly becoming a yes sir country.
What would our fore fathers and mothers think if they still alive?
After all they wanted independence and unitity for there young siblings to appreciate and have some choice.
With the way things are now have they suffered in vain and wasted all there hard work and effords?
That is just like saying we give up on all ye have done for us.
Please try and give some support and let them smile knowing that it was worth there time and efforts and the reason they died for us to have a better life, and our sibings to follow better still.

What is it that you dont think people of Ireland dont have a choice in?? Isnt Ireland independent? Isnt Ireland's government voted in by its people?

As far as I can see, Ireland is independent and free thinking. As regards the unity part of it - well, only the people can decide to unite or not. If they choose not to, well, what can you do??dunno

Not sure really what you are complaining about, sir..dunno confused

lisbon treaty was the light of the yes sir country. it raised many eyebrows in this country as our vote as disregarded.

it also gives me the impression eu is changeing to a dictatorship in disguise pretending they take our vote serious then disregard it and claim to change bits and pieces of treaty then throw it at us again

therefore basically demanding we agree, once we did say yes. europe will give us a pat on the head and say

good ireland gooood ireland thats a good nation if they done it once they will do it again. in the treaty i believe they wanted a miliary force for protection of europe (to be honest i forgot alot of the details of the treaty) but i remember or neutrality was at stake.

what if europe makes a another one making it a more of a military in force for protection seems like eu will seem more aggresive well if they do want that id rather count ireland out

eu is turning more and more like the usa soon or status will be a state not a country we will have the same status as the state of texas or nevada seems or nationality will probely die with it

also like to add that our laws could be changed by other member states which also bothers me

they can change it even tho they dont even live in ireland and most of these people have no concern over us its going to cause alot of probelms we will feel we cant even make a choice over our own issues while some person who has no idea of ireland comes and tells us no u cant put that law into effect

could even make important laws that need to be reviewed or made come in effect alot slower

good point,
i'm just asking for some support from the Irish to try and get sinn fein higher up the ladder and deal with the way things are or should be in our country,
what happens in future is anyones guess but we need to have the best group to ensure that the country dont fall again like the way this group has let it now,
cowen dont care of the pensioners and needy that he has now, he cant even do them justice.
we just need a group that will give us a bit more,, and they are walking the right way in ast ten yearhandshake

Join Sinn Fein if you want but if you do then leave your mind at the door as you enter, you won't be needing it.

S.F. take their orders from the Army Council of the IRA, they are always looking for cannon-fodder, both literally and metaphorically.
