RE: GOD

You need to show evidence to back up your proof.scold

RE: GOD

Give me an example of your proof.

RE: GOD

Darwin's theories have not been proven to be correct.

*There is no explanation for the appearance of the first living cells (Abiogenesis).
* Living systems are irreducibly complex, mitigating against chance.
* There is a rapid appearance of life in the Cambrian rocks (Cambrian explosion).
* There are gaps in the fossil records.
* Living fossils show the stability of species over time.
* Anatomical homology (e.g. similar limb bone structure between species) does not always relate to similar genes, suggesting no common descent.
* Mutations tend to lead to slight changes in function or loss of original function, but not novel function.
* Mutations do not lead to larger and more complex genomes.
* The evidence for early man is scant and inconclusive

He may have also confused the process of adaptation for evolution.

Further, if he is correct, then the varieties of life should spread out like a large shade tree. However, the fossil record does not show this to be true.

I could go on, but suffice it to say that Darwin has yet to be proven as correct

So much for ignorance.

RE: GOD

Where is the ignorance? It is just as ignorant saying that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is non-existant. Get over yourself!

There are believers and non-believers, it is a choice and God gave us choice. If you prefer not too believe that is your privilege. Have the decency to respect the people who choose to believe.scold

RE: Twenty-Eight days of Black History

@Drewski,

There is nothing wrong with people being proud of their heritage, sounds like you may be a little jealous therelaugh People like the Greeks for instance,(in the example you used)are keeping their traditions alive through festivals like these, and if you were in their shoes, you would know that they too get homesick for their country, although they love Canada, they don't forget their heritage.

I am sorry that you worked 24/7 for the past ten years in the states, crying None are more blind, than those who will not see. You see only what you want to see, one needs to listen to people speak, watch their actions etc. to know the treatment that certain races receive.

So at this point Archie, I bid you a good day!grin

RE: Young guys into older women

I suppose it would depend upon the gap in between the two ages. I certainly wouldn't want to be with someone the same age as my son, whom is 29 this year. If we are talking 5-7 or even 10 years at the most, I think it is acceptable. Mind you, I am talking personal preferences here. Ultimately I prefer a man to be either a couple of years younger or for him to be older.boogie

RE: A Constructive post, I hope

Yes, I enjoy reading profiles of the different members, but if I had to have all the requirements they are asking for, I'd never meet anybody. sigh Wait, there is one, applause ooops, no, he is looking for Barbieroll eyes oh! wait, here is one, banana no, he is looking for cigar smokers only, no problem, let's go to the next guy, gee yay hey, I have everything he is looking for, how about that??!! oh oh, I'll be a monkey's auntie! the bloomin guy is looking for a midget!! I give upfrustrated

I am just kidding of course, but some of these profiles are just amazing to me. I am quoting men's profiles, that is because(nothing personal) I don't want to look at the women's profiles. I see older gentlemen in their 60s looking for women in their 40s, I guess that is OK, men that are searching for women who care for intimacy, well come on now, aren't we all? Just an observation and not meant to offend.grin comfort hug

RE: Twenty-Eight days of Black History

doh oops, that should read couldn't get a bigger mix

RE: Twenty-Eight days of Black History

What are you saying, Canada's racial relations are pretty good. Try being in Toronto, you could get a bigger mix of different backgrounds. Please, the United States have and still do treat African Americans like crap. That of course is my opinion. Travelling through the US, I was appalled at how they were treated, and how people spoke about them. sigh
