I don't see any harm in a moments silence, I don't see any harm in religion in the schools either. They took religion out of the schools, and that is such a shame. I realize that I am older but when I went to school (public), we had a reading from the bible over the intercom, we said the Lord's prayer, and sang the National Anthem. This was done at a time when there probably weren't as many ethnic groups aa there are today. It is sad to see at a wedding or a funeral, when a child does not even know the Lord's prayer, or at sporting event, where younger people don't know the words to their national athem. So a moments silence, where a child can reflect on whatever they wish to, seems very harmless to me. There is always someone kicking up a fuss about something. The kids probably don't even care, as they are so adaptable. It is usually the adults that cause the problems.

You are absolutely right, what is the difference? If you are sincere in your search, what would it matter, where you chat? Good point, I have learned my lesson, so spammers beware!

Thank you once again SA for your advice, forwarned is forearmed. This gentleman and I use the term loosely, said he was a widow, but dealt in buying and selling jewels, and lived in Florida. Needless to say, if I was to meet him in person, Mr Jewel man would be wise to watch his family jewels!

You know even though I am new here, I am a little dismayed,at the fact, after posting my photos, putting up a profile, that some one would actually think I was a spammer. The gentleman chatted with me here, very nice, I then let him chat with me on my yahoo messenger site. He had the audacity to accuse me of not only being a spammer but being a man. I guess there are all kinds of nuts that run around all the sites. Go figure!! A nut in every handful I guess.

I think there are still a lot of good men out there, but one need not put such high expectations on them, or be in such a rush, that common sense flies out the window. Taking a relaxed and easy going outlook is far better, than getting all stressed out as to whether or not you are going to impress him. Hey, I am what I am, if you like me that is great, and that is a start. If you don't,...well there will always be someone who doesn't.

Hey what is wrong with just going for a drive in the country or a dinner made by the two of you. Both of you can have just as much fun, without trying so hard to entertain, plus you'll get the chance to find out more about each other.
