Tamarin: Pick her up from work at lunch with a picnic...go to the park and watch the kiddies fall off the monkey bars....as you sit on a rug and enjoy!
Make sure the picnic has lots of personal, romantic touchs.
that'd be really great for the summer...but for now would a fake picnic in the living room be too corny? lol
What is wrong with just staying in for an evening and renting or watching a good movie, curling up together... I don't feel dating has to always be some sort of entertainment-especially after several dates...
Steveo54: i just started seeing a girl pretty seriously, we've done the dinner, bowling, bar, movie, etc, but im runnin out of ideas for dates.
so i was wondering what everyone on here would call a really good date.
Learn something new together. Musical instrument, painting classes, dance classes. One: Classes are usually once-a-week, don't have to worry about what to do for a date. Two: You both are learning something new together, creating a bond you share. Take her out tonight and talk about it. There, another date idea. Dinner, to talk.
Steve, Have you tried a pool hall? At most places where I live you can have a cocktail if you want and can pick a table as near or far from everyone else, depending on how alone you want to be! Fun place to watch people. Also, suprisingly most people don't know what the area they live in actually has to offer. Take a look at the Chamber of Commerce or Tourism board websites and see where tourists would go if they were just visiting your town. I formerly lived in a small town in Wisconsin with the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore right out the front door and it was amazing how many local people had never been out there to see what the big deal was! It is gorgeous! Anyway, hope the suggestions help. Good luck and have fun!
