Are men as shy as women?

Hmmmm....yes I am doing a little changing around, I guess when I joined, I kind of omitted a few things. I did it in such a hurry though, and now I regret putting some things there. doh I shall be reconstructing my profile.

RE: Ladies lets talk makeup

It may sound ludicrous, but I swear by any Oil of Olay product. I have been using it since I was around 16 years old. I was really dismayed when they took their make up off the shelf. Still don't know why. crying I also swear by a facial once a week. It may not make me younger looking, but it makes me feel better. dancing

Are men as shy as women?

I am curious. Do you think that men are just as shy as women? I look at the men who have viewed me, and I don't know if they read my profile or not, but if you have viewed me, there must have been something there in order to draw your curiousity. Why don't they drop me a line or something? dunno confused

RE: Only curious about women not answering emails.

Send me an email, and I will answer it, and I don't live that far away. I like meeting new people, I mean, how is anyone ever going to find their one and only if they don't speak with each other, if only to have a new friend. dunno

RE: have you taught abroad? do share!

Well Mickey, I taught out of province and not abroad. I found it to be a rewarding experience. I met many new people, learned about their different ways, and picked up a bit of their language as well. If I was younger, I would definitely recommend it to others, as a chance to see the world and get paid for it. It would also depend on your personality, as it isn't for everybody. You really need to be independent and very outgoing.professor

RE: Would you be willing to travel for the right person?

Good on you!! thumbs up banana

RE: Would you be willing to travel for the right person?

I have done so, and would do it again. However I did not meet them on the internet but on a phone in chat line. We met, and long story short I moved out of province for 5 years. Great way to see the rest of the country etc. You do need to be careful as others have already remarked, common sense should prevail. professor

A real turn off barf a man after chatting with me for ten minutes, that I am the one for him, oh pleeeeze, do some men think we lost our brain just because we are on a singles site?doh or is that they think we are that desperate, we will do and say anything to get a man. geesh!sleep

RE: Would Any Females Date This?

rolling on the floor laughing My son is older, but if I was 30 years younger, sure. applause

RE: Being contacted from those in other countries....

I totally agree with CurvyChick, I mean where did all that come from. I was contacted by a man from Iraq, I was polite to him, but hey, reality is, do you really think I have any notions about going there, or having him come here? I don't think so! I am however quite happy to meet new friends and chat. Ultimately, I am hoping to meet someone a little closer to home. yay

RE: Act Your Age

If I acted the age I felt, I would probably be in trouble constantly, and if I acted my numeric age, I would probably fall asleep. So what is in a number? I just try the best I can, to look the best I can. No lifts for me thanks, I will grow old gracefully, and hopefully still look good, but feel like the twenty year old! laugh

Classical Music Lovers

I just love classical music, I could sit for hours just listening to Vivaldi, Mozart or Strauss. Do you have a favorite composer or opera you enjoy listening to.

RE: My Favorite Book. Yours?

I enjoy reading Reginald Hill, or anything by Mary Higgins Clark.

RE: WHO LIKES TO COOK BREAKFAST?

I love cooking breakfast, nothing like getting up early, putting the coffee on, and making french toast, pancakes or whatever your heart desires. Don't eat breakfast much, and if I do, it is usually just toast. When you are alone, there isn't much point, but I love cooking for others and at any time.
