Just so everyone knows its not really an alien zoo. Its a little cage in her basement. Fortunately it was a cheap one bought on ebay so its easy to escape from. Shes just saying it has all these nice things cause the cookies dont work anymore.
I disagree I have morality which I have been told I shouldnt because I dont follow the bible. I think it comes down to how you see yourself. As an island alone in a dog eat dog world or as part of a community.
I can see how you class atheism as a belief system because there is no actual scientific evidence to disprove the existence of a god/gods. I think though that calling all people that describe themselves as atheists liers or non-existant is just aggravating and insulting and not really conducive to a serious discussion on the subject.
Why did you not ask for evidence proving there is no god? Or compare theists to atheist? Are you trolling? I have enjoyed this as a quite interesting thought experiment. Though I think a better use of terms would have brought about a much better discussion.
I like the idea of burden of proof and looking around I have found that in both cases of atheism and theism they have very little to go on. But this does not make them wrong nor does it make them right. I have heard science being described as being like a pier on the ocean. There is a whole ocean of possiblities out there.
As for the question you have asked. How can anyone prove what they believe? Do they jump off a cliff believing god will catch them? Or kill themselves doing the same believing there is no god to stop them? I considered a lie detector test though this would not stand up in the court of law. And most certainly not to scientific scrutiny.
So we are left with the problem. How do we prove what we believe to satisfy a scientific standard of proof? I dont know that we currently can.
Cougar has come to mean an insult to any older woman that dates a younger man. I think it the beginning it meant older women that prey on younger men like they were game.
