Ray, everyone knows you on here and no one takes you seriously, if you would have put this in the "Jokes & Humor" category then we could have all had a good laugh
Canada to send six CF-18s for Libya 'no-fly' mission 17/03/2011 9:33:17 PM CTV.ca News Staff Canada will contribute six CF-18 fighter jets to help enforce a no-fly zone in Libya, sources have told CTV News. "The Canadian government has made the decision late today that Canada will send six CF-18 fighter jets to join the Americans, the British and the French and other countries that will participate in imposing a no-fly zone," CTV's Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife reported
The jets will be based out of Italy and could be there as soon as Friday. After weeks of speculation the UN Security Council has moved to "establish a ban on all flights in the airspace" in the North African country and authorized "all necessary measures" to protect civilians, according to the draft version of a resolution. The resolution also demanded an immediate ceasefire and called on Gadhafi to "take all measures to protect civilians and meet their basic needs." Word of the resolution was greeted by celebrations in the rebel-held town of Benghazi. The UN vote came shortly after Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi warned of a massive military offensive on the town.
“UNITED NATIONS – Draft resolution on which the United Nations Security Council must decide this Thursday evening excludes a "force of occupation" in Libya. The text, which Reuters obtained a copy, allows the establishment of an exclusion zone in the Libyan sky and "all necessary measures to protect civilians and populated areas of civilians threatened with attack, including Benghazi - city to the East of Libya in the hands of the rebellion - excluding an occupying force". It also allows for the Arab countries, like other States, to take measures in cooperation with the United Nations to protect the Libyan civilian population. France, whose Foreign Minister Alain Juppe went to New York, has declared he is persuaded to get the green light from the Security Council for a military intervention which would be launched a few hours after the vote in New York.”
Here's part of a speech that I just read and was made by Hilary Clinton while on a recent visit to Tunisia. It sounds like there’s a lot to take into consideration before creating a no fly zone over Libya and talks are presently ongoing at the UN which seems to be the appropriate step to take. But I must admit that I personally hope The UN accelerates their pace so something can be done ASAP to help those people get rid of this Dictator, his family and close collaborators.
Clinton: UN no-fly zone requires bombing Libya (Yahoo News)
“ TUNIS, Tunisia – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Thursday that a U.N. no-fly zone over Libya would require bombing targets inside the country to reduce the threat posed by Moammar Gadhafi's forces. Her assessment made clear the risk of possible military intervention as world powers consider broader steps to protect civilians and pressure the Libyan leader. "A no-fly zone requires certain actions taken to protect the planes and the pilots, including bombing targets like the Libyan defense systems," Clinton said as she neared the end of a Middle East trip dominated by worries about Libya, where a rebel offensive is apparently flagging. Clinton said discussions are going beyond specific actions toward broader authorization so countries can enforce any U.N. measures. No ground intervention is being considered, she said. Visiting Tunisia for the first time since protesters toppled their long-time autocratic ruler, Clinton spoke about the bloodshed in neighboring Libya and cited the U.N. negotiations in New York “
Yes you’re right about meeting someone on Skype or similar and yes meeting in person if possible is still the best option though that could also turn out quite scary at times
As for fake profiles I’d take the time to report them if you’re sure they’re fake. I think the CS Mods would appreciate that and so would most CS members even if it only means getting rid of some usernames
Are you referring to 25 yr old women as children who would need to be adopted? Don't they know what they want and can't they take care of themselves at that age?
I’m sure everyone agrees with you and others who expressed the same feelings you did but this thread is on having a particular interest in a particular 'natural' hair color’ So would you prefer someone with a lively brain under a blond, black, red, brown, grey, white or other hair color or maybe you’d prefer someone bald and then maybe you have no preferences but it simply boils down to what you’d prefer if the person in question had lets say the lively brain that you'd like.
He does have a lot of talent and many good years ahead of him; I hope he makes a great comeback after that head injury that left him with concussion symptoms.
Most of us if not all have preferences when it comes to hair colour, isn’t that why some chose to dye their hair back to its original colour or another color. As for dating someone outside our hair preference colour I’m sure we’d all do it because other qualities certainly prevail over this preference.
Nothing better than being honest with them and letting them know exactly how you feel about all their flatteries. It can be done in a polite and unpretentious way. This reminds me of my father, often when we go out to eat he’ll repeat to the waitress how good the food is so many times that we end up telling him enough is enough.
I’d be real cautious and find out how implicated you’d be both responsibly wise and money wise before getting involved and before sending any money whatsoever. Even without knowing the whole story I see a red light here.
Yes I agree with you. Some want to be right even when they know they’re wrong. Some want to hurt, some tend to overkill and this creates real nasty situations at times. This site needs more people like you, hopefully you’ll hang around
