Have also been all over the med & it really depends what you want out of the town - Busy nightlife ? Great beaches ? Shopping ?
Have to admit i haven't checked your age but for nightlife & beaches you cannot beat Benidorm in Spain - Levante beach is possibly the best in Europe.
Ibiza is also great. Don't listen to the bad press Ibiza island is beautiful & green . Get a car and drive around. Avoid Ibiza town & San Antonio if you don't like it too rowdy.
For me i would say Spain but like i said earlier it depends exactly what you want out of the holiday as it's a big country with many different tourist regions
