You asked about the secret of CS............not about what happens in RL. We're not on the street............Who exactly have you seen hitting a woman, and the woman gagging for help, here on CS????????
I think the forums are just a habit. You switch the computer on and one of the regular sites to visit is CS. It's mostly fun just to see what folks have got to say on different subjects. And the characters are so diverse....they're fun too....just like your soaps on tele!!!!
Apart from that, there is the original intention of the site....i.e. to meet someone. There is still always that hope for those who wish it.
what sorta world do you live in????? Man's been out working physically all day..he EXPECTS food on the table when he gets home. Woman's place is to provide it!!!!!
I do all that, apart from the giving birth nowadays. I also do the gardening, looking after the pool, ferrying myself around in the car. I don't have to fight for equal rights.....................the men are far inferior......cos they don't do the hunting and the husbandry. Their role was taken over by the supermarkets!!!!!!!!!!!
Building careers???? Ya mean earning enough to keep heads above water!!! Having children diminishes that considerably, unless you got good parents who will help out, or are earning enough to put the children into "unbeknown" care!!!!!!
Because........a long time ago, it was decided that men went out and hunted the food....or grew the food...and the women cooked the meat that the lovely men bothered to hunt....or they harvested the vegetables they put in the ground and duly cooked them. Those were the old rules!!! and they worked. So much confusion nowadays about the roles.......just cos the woman can earn some money and (supposedly) live extremely well without the men. I'd love to see how women survived without the possibility of dropping into the supermarket!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this very much depends on your age. 20's, 30's it's like red rag to a bull. 40's 50's we're outta school. 60's 70's it's nice to reminisce. 80's 90's who gives a sh+t
