Trouble is....when they are really old and incapable....we're nearly there as well!!!! If I had to look after an elderly parent who was incontinent, or had to be physically moved constantly, I would want to do it because I loved them, but would probably find it beyond my capabilities.
My daughter can't wait to look after me..........she's always looking for signs of me slowing down. Don't think she'll think quite the same if I do go ga-ga though. Ah well.......if I do, I won't even realise........see...there's a blessing in everything!!!!
