All of us, we have "dozen" of men/women who wants us to joint this or that. We all have received mails and more mails.
A serious "war" is going on among the "sites" companies, shares up, shares down in the stock market, this one is going to buy the other one... this is pure business. And those companies they have enormous teams of people trying to "conquest" the normal citizen.
A lot of "letters" and invitations we receive are coming from people working in those teams, for a miserable amount. With all the unemployment going one and kids to feed, who can blame them...
As much people they have in their systmes/sites as more publicity they can sell and with a better price.
It is all over and this site is not a "saint" in this agressive market.
This is a FREE COST site, I would say nothing is free...and I don't want to say more...
My understanding of the question is that you are asking people to reflect back to the times of religions, when each was created...and consider what the motivation for the creation was...and is it fear...is this basically what you were asking, OP?
Yes Love A tough thread to moderate Does criation and the Creator need a motivation? I believe all the living things and animals, with more or less capacities, we are all so basic beauty, that beauty is the motivation; and beauty is love, in the "latus sensus".
Religion came with fear, because it was necessary to creat rules to make these "critures" the humans, to be more "racional" and act more to protect the species. We are not doing so well, but I think we are much better then 2000 years ago, in the Roman empire...
Some religions have been able to compile the best of the human thought, philosophy, ethics. I think we would not be were we are without religion, but we need to give a step forward, if not we risk to destroy this planet. But as some body said we came from the dust of the stars, we will go back to dust of the stars and, who knows, start from the begining again.
I am as I am because of my education and my ethics. I rule my life according with human ethics. So I am happy and free. I have lost money, jobs, friends, men, just because i don't do a certain number of thins. Period. I am myself.I am not afraid of GOD or any thing.
I always answer to the mails I receive, even those from some "boys" writting "love letters". So far nobody has been less respectfull with me. I have said many times, no thank you, never the less I have some nice and friendly pen pals. I had just one incident with a gentleman asking me about my house, how far it was from the see... so I said this was not a holiday resort.
This "dating" job, some times is not a easy one. Keep trying...
