It's true that I do not seem to remember big thunderstorms out there, (nor any lightening bugs like there are on the east coast!) Colorado always has some good storms in the spring time.
This one has slowed down a little bit and giving a great show of lightening, still about 12 miles away.
I sincerely hope your brother keeps flying for many years to come. Without any pun intended, may the best of science and religion come through for them.
If you have time, look into the "Train to the Clouds" in Argentina! It is awesome!
I sailed down the coast of South America from Miami to Buenos Aries and back about 1-1/2 yrs ago. I wish I could have driven the the entire coast, from what I could see from the boat the coastline was fantastic.
