RE: Another failed presidency..................Barack Obama..................

No... "post garbage about people who are trying to do good and they think by stomping on them they justify their existence."
people could be anyone, not just a political figure.

RE: Another failed presidency..................Barack Obama..................

I guess your unaware or omitting the fact that every person of importance since the introduction of television into mainstream life has used tele-prompters to project their words so they can see them while looking at the camera so they appear more natural-it's better then looking down at paper notes. All the republican presidents used them too...imagine that!

It was good of you to spend time working down there in Watts. As you say, it was one of your better times since this obviously is not!

I'm going to stop posting because this is just a go nowhere thread, typical of these when there posted.
I reacted to it because the poster is just another in a long list of people who post garbage about people who are trying to do good and they think by stomping on them they justify their existence.
I'm just tired of them loser's like them.

RE: Another failed presidency..................Barack Obama..................

"Obama has already done enough damage in this short time."
Oh really...your an expert on America up there in B.C.

"I am not into politics myself. I pass this on by request.
Obama scares me that is it in a nutshell."
Liar, you are into politics if your doing this.

"Some of my friends tell me they voted..."
What friends are these? People hiding out up there in Canada?

"What happens in America affect everyonne in the world."
Good, so do the world a favor and stay out of it.
Why don't you do something like stop the City of Vancouver from dumping it's raw sewage into the water up there, that's affecting the world too.

"My American friends see Obama as I do, scary, that is why I send things on."
So you live in fear, that's your problem. Other people do not hide behind the false security of a system that does not work as you and your "friends" seem to think is better then trying to change it for one that probably will not be perfect, but probably better then what we've had in the past. Now we have a leader who is a leader that can make a change...if he lives past the verbal assasination attempts of people like you who demonstrate they cannot think for themselves and do what other people tell them out of ignorance and fear.

You title this post "Another failed presidency..................Barack Obama.................."
In short, your Dutch, living up in Canada making noise about America...who the hell are you to post this b/s?
You want to post this crap, come down in to America and become a citizen and pay taxes to earn the right to blow hot air like the rest of your "American friends"

RE: Paris and Eifel Tower

Moving the Eifel Tower would be like moving the Statue of Liberty out of NY!
In modern times memory the cities identity will always be be attached to these symbols and they would survive without them, but how silly is London Bridge looking in the middle of the Arizona desert!

RE: Some Americans just have no sense of reality

well...this goes down with a guy hearing a thief in his garage and he gets his gun and confronts the thief telling him to put his hands up and his gun was very visible. The thief picks up a pipe and starts to swing at the homeowner.
The home owner shoots him in the shoulder not wanting to kill him.
The police come and everything was okay as it was legal self defense.
It was okay until the thief sued the homeowner for being shot and won...

this is also sad, the lady should have been arrested for being a peeping tom and her kid taken away since she was corrupting the kids morals by training them to become a peeping tom.

aside for that I'm LMAO, I feel for the guy.

RE: why are americans so afraid of everything

it's simple, if we can't put it in the refridgerator so it doesn't go bad then it's not safe.

If money...

If money is the root of all evil, why do churches beg for it?

RE: which was the most important invention in history?

"guilt"...that concept sure has influenced history.

RE: What are you doing right now?

Sipping some hot black wine(coffee) and watching a massive thunderstorm that is out over the sea. The lightening in the clouds is just beautiful.

RE: which was the most important invention in history?

Going for the wheel.
If you think about it, the concept of using the round/circle shape that rotates has been the inspiration for so many other inventions that have created our modern world that without it we would not be where we are today.
The chances are the Gutenberg Press would not have been invented if not for the rotating round screw! The gears that operate all the mechanical machinery invented to date would not have been created without the wheel. Without the machinery we would not have the world we have now.
Give that caveman a beer!

RE: would you ever consider getting a big cat,to keep as a pet?

and there is the story of these two little old ladies who somehow got custody of a Bengal Tiger to bring him to a refuge from a court after the traveling circus was raided by the DEA for transporting drugs from Mexico into the US...the drugs were hidden under the floor of the tiger's cage. Anyway, there were up north and drove down to L.A. with the tiger in the back seat of their car feeding him hamburgers on the way down.
I can see them pulling up to a McDonalds and this stripped tail hangs out the window...

RE: Randomly post the first thing that pops into your head thread

Intelligence is knowing a tomato is a fruit,
common sense is not putting it in a fruit salad.

RE: why is it hard

define "good".

RE: would you ever consider getting a big cat,to keep as a pet?

well said Michael and very true. The people who owned the tigers should have been put in jail or out in the jungle to walk among the tigers to see how they like the opportunity to be food for them.

You know that raccoons do get meaner as they get older, so anyone keeping them as pets faces an inherent risk of being bitten.
Good work with what your doing with them.

RE: would you ever consider getting a big cat,to keep as a pet?

Has anyone ever seen a leopard in a magic act or 3-ring circus?
I'll answer it for you since I haven't time to monitor the forum.
If you have a leopard, at some point in the relationship someone is going to die.
