RE: Do you believe in the death penalty?

It's about deterrence... while one murder does not justify another yes, there are (or should be) fates worse than death. Again I'm only talking about violent crimes and for the type of prisoners who are now on death row.

RE: Do you believe in the death penalty?

strongly against it, too many mistakes in legal process... on the other hand I believe prison time should be much harder time, especially for crimes which involve violence, not mini holidays. The French and Russians had the right idea with penal camps and gulags... and life sentences should mean life sentences.

RE: Best thing that happened to you today

Shared lunch with a raven... Good God, I am becoming a hermit...

RE: Monogamy

Best definition I heard came from my daughter who described herself at the time as a serial-monogamist

RE: what do you fear most?

Biggest Fear... Growing old alone.

... and I thought I was over stressing about turning 50... Guess not.

IM Requests not seen?

Must be that, I little digging found me this...

Additional settings: Pop-upsPrint
Google Chrome automatically blocks pop-ups from showing up automatically. You can choose whether you want to see pop-up notifications:

Click the wrench menu .
Select Options.
Click the Under the Hood tab.
If you want to see pop-ups, select the 'Notify me when a pop-up is blocked' checkbox.
Click Close.
If you allow pop-up notifications, an alert will come up at the bottom right-hand corner of the browser window whenever there are pop-ups for the page you're on. It'll show you the number of pop-ups that have been blocked. Click the alert to expand any of the pop-ups. To dismiss the alert , click the x.

P.S. We're working on ways to let you specifiy individual websites where pop-ups should not be blocked. Stay tuned!

IM Requests not seen?

Found the Filters. Nothing set there, except the time zone was set for the other side of the world :) ... not sure if that was the problem...

IM Requests not seen?

No.. these are people who apparently have been trying to IM me. If I chose the 'Online now' window, to the left I see 'my lists' and under that is a button called contacts, which is separated into people I've contacted and people who have contacted me. I do have IM turned on... Filters?

IM Requests not seen?

Hi...
New here, I just found the button that lists IM requests. While I've had a few IM chats I seem to have missed a lot... What's up with that?
