So the poor American people can see,that they are not the sharks,everybody thinks they are.-After all you have said "some of them they have "heart", have they??? seeing their poor fellow Americans,living under appalling conditions,what happened to compassion towards the needy human beeings???.If the government helps up to a point, but is not enough, don't you think is our obligations towards our fellow human beeings to help them?? Are we heartless as societies,or our societies, have adopted the rule ""survival of the fittest"" ???.-

So far to my way of thinking, the USA government,is a Capitalistic one,unless has change lately,and i have not noticed. Of cource is the capitalistic government responsibility to help the poor,and not the corporations.-

Could you please go back to my 2 previous posts.- It was a proposal,Golden boys/girls in the company to give up their annual bonusses (not their salaries) for a needy couse, the poor people.- Now not having colleagues, the proposal is null and void.

You say ""we recognize as society,all people have basic needs,and all chip in, to make sure those needs are met"".- I have a proposal to you,so you can prove what a good samaritan you are for the needy.- Propose to the Golden boys/girls,in the company,you working for, this year their bonus will go to a common couse,"the needy people".- Each and everyone of your peers,will come up,with the exclamation "are you nuts",and within seconds the ""laughing stock"" in the company,because none of them have a "heart" for the needy.-

Obviously have tax cuts as somebody said,answearing your post.Again not you,been in the corporate cicle,and not any golden boy/woman ever gone,and live for a month,so will have first hand opinion,in those appalling conditions the lower class Americans live in.Is different, to have a picture what is like,and different to live it,for a while,what is REALLY like.-How you explain the fact, the poverty in USA has double the last 30 years,and the upper class people,running those corporations+companies to have trible??? In who's back those golden boys,get their huge bonusses??.-Have they ever those golden boys,question their morality,earning those huge amounts of money,in comparison with a family living under a bridge???? Again does Immorality start from the upper or the lower level of society???You forgot to respond or you left it out deliberately.Of cource you have every right to respond, in section of the post, if so wished.-

The idealists they have been there,they have seen the poverty,the unemployment,the strangle for survival,the ghettos,the conditions of the slums, the favelas in Brzil,the water not running, the sewerage not working,the kids dying because for lack of hygiene.-Do you think the business world with their pragmatic business sense,as you say,they give a sh..t for those people and their living conditions????.- None whatsoever,as managers,CEO,Chairmen,their only concern is ,how to reach their targets,for the so much sought after bonuses or golden handshakes.- Those people dont know what moral standards are. You remember the CEO of Royal Bank of Scotland,he bankrupted the bank and he refused to return the Golden handshake money,claiming the money was his, because of the contract he had,with the bank.-From where do you think immorality starts??? from the bottom level of society or the very upper level???.-If all those people in the business world,they were forced to live for only one month,under those appalling conditions,i think we could have had, a better understanding from the upper classes towards the lower ones.
