RE: Are some older men too set in their ways?
I think we all young, old, male or female find comfort and security in routines and habits
my ex husband was "set in his ways" to the extent that he was unable to compromise to save the marriage..
and to tell the truth it probably would only have been like sticking plaster on our troubles..
we just didn't bring out the best in each other
he now has an exciting life with a new older partner, the old boring ways are gone he's never home always off to exciting places..
am I jealous?
nope
truth is we didn't bring out the best in each other and I am happy that he has found someone who does
if we bring out the best in each other then we do find ways to venture beyond our comfort zones
compromise becomes easy

RE: Pro-Gun/Anti-Gun?
same here not that the law stops folk..
we have alot of gang shootings here n they often get the wrong innocent youngster..
I doubt that having a firearm would make me any safer, n faced with danger it is unlikely that I would be able to shoot someone

RE: The Month ahead, Your favorite
I can't say that I have a favourite month, I am a summer person tho
every spring I look for the buds opening waiting for the trees to green up
long light evenings full of promise
sadly our days of summer n sunshine are few n far between here even so it's still my favourite time of year
