thanks, i was thinking that, but its been so long out of print, once in a while i hear treetop flier on the radio, and check into the cd, and its out of print, great playing on that record, i think its all covers.
great stuff, i understand "shawn phillips" lives in south africa now, does he play there? csn&y great group, also mott the hoople does a great version of "ohio" oh, shawn phillips isn't assosiated with csn but thought of him'(i'm a fan) when i saw s africa.
i hear ya, but some start out behind the 8 ball, takes more time to get out there with confidence, i've been on my own since i was 17 so had to get with life face first, others it takes longer
not so, i find you attractive, as for the jerk type" the kind of guy who shoves people around, talks down to you, treats their girlfriend like a posession, and no for me if she'whoever she is, is kind, intelligent, decent, sense of humor, doesnt matter if shes not people mite consider a barbi type, just plain old nice is fine by me.
be your self, but don't wait around waiting to be noticed, just go about your life, whatever it is that you enjoy doing someone who appreciates what you offer, will notice.
hey bro, just you continue to be a nice guy, do not be tempted to be some one you arent, i wonder about the same thing, about the macho, jerk types, but the types of women that are atracted to those types you don't want.
oh and yes not to mention the many friends i saw go over the edge, a number of them are perminatly damaged, and i'm talking heavy drugs, not a doobie and a few beers at a party.
a bit too much? try to connect to the larger picture, it was never about "i'm wasted" more about escaping emotional pain, and uncertian about my place in the universe, where else could your question go? its an open ended question.
just saying, if we put things like this aside and relate to one another as fellow inhabitants here, with respect, regardless of religion, race, looks, career, ect, ect. we may have a chance to find common ground.
thats a question people ask here in the states as well, i don't care for it. i think most people that do this are trying to find out if you are on their level, career, intellect, ect, ect. i'm sure some don't mean any offense, but i find it offensive when they hear "what you do for a living" they find a reason to cut-off whatever conversation you were having and get away from you. this has happened to me on several occasions, the crazy thing is, before "they found out what you do" you got along great. and possibly besting them on whatever the topic was, maybe thats why they beat a hasty retreat, imagine that.
