I can understand how embarrassed one may be if it were a 'face to face' thing and it was a complete surprise to the other person. Here on CS it is a little anon and l am sure all members that write in the forums would not be too bothered if someone came out with a truth or two.
In fact from reading things here in the past couple of days all are very supportive, in which case l feel that even the 'receiver' would not be 'absolutely surprised', more, they would be flattered that someone felt so deeply for them.
I am actually on another site and was speaking with another about deleting someone on first sight and they told me that l possibly have already 'erased' the love of my life without knowing it....................a very strange thought!

Well I'm afraid I tend to agree with you on that one. I suppose people like that you just have to tell them out striaght "to push off I'm NOT interested" unfortunately you have to be blunt with people like that.

if they do not care for you in the same way, then there is not much to say on that one, there is nothing you can do and whilst that is hurtful for you, then it is something that you must deal with, especially if they have not misled you in any way.
And if they do not get it, try again, with a straight message, rather than clues. These are people who cannot find the butter in the fridge, so expecting them to unravel riddles, may be expecting a little too much.

have to agree with that.
i am so poor in reading clues i might have missed a lot of changes for a good time in my life.
say what you want and do it after is indeed an easy way and takes away a lot off guess work.
besides it clears the air upfront and might even work way more stimulating
