Hmmm I'd say I was a little more optimistic... most of the time, have my dark days though when it feels like everythings going to go wrong

Do you underestimate, and belittle everyone then? Why would you 'bet' that people would stand up for their belief or that they wouldn't do things to help others (as posted in you 'bet none of you ever do any charity work')

Personally I'm still friends with my ex, we're very good friends and I still feel like I can tell him most things. However sometimes I find it merges a little into relationship territory when we argue, probably just cause after a 7 year relationship we know each other so well.

I do enjoy still being friends with him and I guess it helps that we both just realised we just didn't work as a couple. but it is quite possible that without the kids we wouldn't have push so hard to stay friends. Now the only thing I worry about is we one of us finds a new someone and whether they will be comfortable with our friendship.
