I would say most people are a bit of both.

I decided for my New year's resolution that I was going to try and become more of an Optimist and a positive thinker.

Easier said than done lol!!!

First I broke up with my man on the 2nd of January,
then the day after while out walking a slipped on some ice and cracked my head in the flags.
Not a good start to 2009

I am still trying to look on the bright side and not beat myself up if I have a bad day.

Who knows what around the corner?
As the saying goes 'tomorrow is a brand new day'

How has 2009 been for you so far ???

But looking back on it now, was breaking up with your man an incredibly liberating experience and therefore a good thing?

And at least you were in good enough health on the morning of 2nd January to go out walking - and having good health is always a bonus.

This recession is great if you can keep your job and you have a tracker mortgage.

Optimist, as long as I have my health, the rest follows rolling on the floor laughing the fact that I am shattered most of the time due to the hours I work, don't socialise other than here. Life is fantastic, two wonderful children and after the rain this morning the sun is shining yay
