I had a splendid day working with the dogs, all 116 of them! What a beautiful day it was! Ate up by fire ants? That doesn't sound like very much fun, dang!
fantasma, pleasure to meet ya! If you would like assisstance in this matter, please feel free to check out my dream thread, listed under the general interests category, hope to see you there! I haven't contributed in awhile and haven't taken a look at it, but feel free to contribute and i will offer whatever assisstance i can! I would prefer to offer imput under that thread if it's not too much to ask :)
Haha! very funny and smooth!...lol Sorry, already taken :), but if i knew what you looked like...jokin'!...lol Another question...do strong men cry?, or should they be considered weak? I think it takes a real man to show emotion, to cry, but that's just what i think! What is your opinion?
Very sorry to hear about your friend Rose, that is a tragedy...we can never be truly be prepared for something of this magnitude. I am lucky to have not lost anyone close to me, but i know it is inevitable. All we can do in this short time we have on earth, is to let those we love know what they mean to us and to cherish all of the precious moments, because you never know when that can be taken away.
My thoughts are with you Rose and thank you for sharing...i am sure your friend is looking over you now from above, she will always be with you.
Aw, Chance....my thoughts are with you. You are a strong woman, who has already overcome so much...i hope you find that strength to make it through this tough time once again. Remember you have a lot of support behind you, a lot of people thinking about you and praying for you.
Glad to see you're back, was wondering what happened to ya! Your presence at the forums was surely missed:( Hope you continue to make posts, as i have thoroughly enjoyed them. Happy to hear you made the most of your time off...lol
Hey TallB, just noticed my pics and story on the Connecting Singles friend's page...but the other pics i submitted weren't posted, any particular reason...too much space taken up perhaps?...lol Anyway, thanks for posting my story, hope other's have the same success and thank you for everything you do on this site, it's the best on the net! Keep up the great work, you really do a lot for people looking to connect! I know i wouldn't have joined unless it was free, but by far, it is much, much better than any dating site requiring money!
I have let a few friends know about this site, and they have joined as well, but unfortunetly have not found the same success as i...perhaps in the future.
Hello there....boo is it?!?....lol Welcome to the site and forums! Most important things to remember....have fun, be patient and expect the unexpected! Good luck :)
Very good, you are one of the few of the human population to vividly remember your dreams, and to have the ability to continue on with one even after you have awoken from one...i have never been able to that, but i'm sure that would be pretty fascinating to do! What was the recurring dream, if you don't mind me asking? Perhaps it has ceased because perhaps whatever caused it to be reccuring has been dealt with, as in something(like an unresolved issue) has come to a conclusion relating to whatever the dreamed 'message' was attempting to convey, does that make any sense to you?
I have done research in relation to dreams...i also have a dream dictionary, but i am no expert....i am just passionate about dreams, because i know there are more to them then what a person thinks...i am very curious when it comes to dreams, and am always attempting to delve deeper into the subconscious mind, to come to a greater understanding of the messages our dreams provide us with.
With you being an insomniac, well i do not know much about that topic, and how it might relate to having the ability to remember dreams or talking in your sleep, but if you would like any help trying to decipher any dreams, then feel free to visit my dream thread, which is also in the 'general interests' category.
Oh yes..teeth grinding...lol...i knew someone that did that, but i haven't seen her in a looonnnnggg time! I think stress may be the source of your teeth grinding, perhaps you need an outlet Tumpa!, something to relieve your stress...lol
Oh, i never questioned that!...lol I would agree that your kids remembered the leprechauns because it is not a very common thing to dream about/talk about while sleeping...can't say i've ever dreamt of them!...lol Do you remember your dreams at all? If so, you could always checkout my dream thread..."dreams, your imput please :)" Well, you know kids definitely wouldn't be able to help themselves regarding letting the whole world know about what you talk about while you sleep....but i can imagine it must me a bit embarrassing at times!...lol
lol...Purple leprechauns?...lol Yeah, i suppose when your sleeping you can't be sure of what you say, unless you have proof(record it), so who knows really...even if it sounds like it's unbelievable, anything's possible while sleeping!
Yet another sleep talker! I know it definitely can be quite hysterical. There have been times when i awaken during the nights that i am with my boyfriend, and i just don't want to go back to sleep or get up, for fear of missing any of his conversations...i am almost tempted to make popcorn, but of course that would require me to get up, and perhaps miss some of his dream ramblings...lol, so i just wait. Wow, you have phone convos too! That would be something else...lol I wonder who it is that you have talked with on the phone while sleeping, and what you may have said!
Your son has now joined in the fun as well, what does he sing, something random? Could it be genetic? I really wonder why people talk in their sleep...wonder what research has uncovered.
My boyfriend also moans sometimes and makes other peculiar noises...i think he laughs sometimes too!...lol
Really?!? Sleep walking....that's a whole other thread right there!..though i'm sure a lot less people have experienced that...lol
I have heard with sleep walkers, it is best to just let them be, as in not touching them...but having a convo with one, that would be very interesting indeed!
I do like to think of myself as a reasonable, rational thinker. Sometimes a dream is just a dream. "Do people who talk in their sleep maybe not talk much during the day?"...that is an interesting question! In some ways yes, in some ways no....my boyfriend provides me with plenty of verbalizations during the course of a day, but there are times, when he doesn't quite talk as much...not sure if it's directly/indirectly related to sleep talk, could just depend on his mood too. Perhaps it is the case with some people. Honestly, i haven't talked in my sleep, or haven't been told i do...and generally, i am a very quiet, private person...only speaking when i have something important to say...most of my thoughts remain in my mind, and i only talk of things i am passionate about...so i guess my case might disprove your statement, because if it were true, i too would be a sleep talker, which is not the case...unfortunately :(
Hello there! Gee, another sleep talker, lol....there's more than i thought! Can your mother ever fully understand what it is you say? I guess if it only happens when your sick....could it be if you're loaded up on meds...if you take meds when you're sick!, that it might cause the sleep talking?
Hi there goodheart, pleasure to meet ya :) Enjoy yourself here...remember it's only as much fun as you let it be...just be honest, open and true to yourself, and everything will work out as it's meant to. Patience is an asset too!...and luck can come at anytime, expect the unexpected!
I have found the one for me...so it can work, good luck!
oh, so you are another sleep talker eh? Very interesting! I find though, that when my boyfriend talks in his sleep, it is very clear and easy to comprehend....he rarely mumbles, much to my satisfaction!...lol
talk in your sleep? For instance, someone has told you that you talk in your sleep, because obviously you wouldn't know otherwise!...lol or do you know someone who does this? I wonder because my boyfriend talks in his sleep, and at times has very interesting conversations while sleeping. At first, i thought he was talking to me, but then i came to the realization of what was actually occuring and sometimes i wish i had my recorder handy....lol I have grown to really look forward to his sleeping conversations and in the mornings, if i remember what he said, then i fill him in on all the juicy details! However, there are times when he has a lot of conversations, but i fail to remember all of them, so i just try to remember the most interesting ones. It is very entertaining indeed! Not sure how much of a response i will get to this, as i am unsure how frequent something of this nature occurs, but i'm positive it happens more then i think, i am just lucky to experience it first-hand!
I wish you the best of luck on this site...and remember, good things come to those who wait, don't force anything, just let things happen naturally, as they are meant to.
I have indeed met one, my boyfriend...nobody else though no need! We have been together now for close to five months...we met after 3 weeks of conversing, though MSN and phone, which provided an adequate ammount of time to get to know him, but nothing is solidified until you meet in person(obviously!)He's basically been on this site as long as i, i found him first, flowered him....and the rest as they say, is history. This kind of thing can work...with patience, perseverance...a bit of luck, and oh yeah...above all else, a connection! Good luck with your search, hope you find what it is your looking for, unless it finds you first!
The subject of smoking has been long disputed one, that's for sure! I have been around smoking all of my life...my dad used to smoke, but was forced to quit several years ago because firstly, his health isn't the best as well as his wife is quite sickly, and it's a wonder she is still alive. She too used to smoke. My mom's boyfriend smokes...don't envision him ever quitting, ever! My brother smoked for a few years, but thankfully has been smoke free for just over a year now. I have a plentitude of friends that smoke, but more that don't, which is great! Surprisingly, i fell in love with a man that smokes, my boyfriend. However, just because he smokes, doesn't change who he is as a person...i fell in love with him, for who he is, not what he does! Though i never thought i would fall in love with a smoker, but you can't rule out any potentials just because they smoke...if i had, i wouldn't have this wonderful man in my life! I do wish he would quit though, for the sake of his health, as well as those around him...the cost factor is another incentive to quit as well. He does plan on quitting, and i will be with him every step of the way, offering my support. Even if he never quit, it wouldn't change how i feel about him, wouldn't alter my opinion of him. Anyway, you can't stop someone from quitting, it must be their choice...they have to truly want to quit or it ain't happening! However, you can choose to be around smokers, or not...but just remember, if you disregard a person who smokes - choose to leave them out of your life, you could be losing out on someone wonderful. My boyfriend is very considerate and respectful though, and smokes outside - wouldn't have it any other way!
Pisces rock! Happy Birthday baileybeez(eventhough i realize it's tommorrow! - early birthday wish) I agree, pisces are amazing, my brother is one...he's the best...but i love my sign of Scorpio though :) Pisces can be soooooo private though, not revealing what's deep inside of them, very intuitive, caring, at times shy, romantic, creative, compassionate, gentle...the list goes on...i love pisces, wish there i were surrounded by more :(
