You wanted to know where that info came from on Obambi wanting for Vet's private insurance to pay for service connectd medical problems, so I'm sure you've already read prior to what Sean Lengel The Obama administration dropped a proposal to require some disabled veterans to pay for medical treatments through their private insurance companies. Verification is all you were asking from the OP as to where did he get such info not the up to date legislation. THE END
You are correct as to what Joe Violante said. Of course I wouldn’t go to the VA just because I have an ingrown toenail which is not service connected nor the flu. The only way the VA neglect Veterans is when doctors don’t write down the prognosis on service connected injuries, I have seen this happen to some of my Vietnam comrades’. First instance, I have a very good friend who was blown off a jeep by a landmine at Vietnam causing injury to his back, and was flown to Hong Kong Japan. After six months in the hospital he was flown back to the states. After coming back to the states he continuously had back problems. When he went to the VA with his medical records the VA had no records indicating he had been at Hong Kong hospital….this goes to show healthcare isn’t the way it should be for the Veteran. The only way my fiend could prove he had been at Hong Kong hospital was that kept he’s hospital wristband while he was in Japan hospital and took his service records. He had four back operations, and on his fourth back operation the doctors cut on the wrong thing. After two weeks of the fourth back operation he got constipated and was taken to the VA for medical attention, and was told to go home and take a laxative. That didn’t work, so about twenty-eight days later he passed out and was taken to VA hospital where he was told he had to be operated on quickly, he agreed and doctors had to cut sixty-one inches of intestines due to gangrene because of cutting the wrong thing to his back on his fourth operation…..it’s called malpractice through negligence from the VA. Now, if this is called good healthcare, I guess anything that goes is fine with the VA. There are many things we don’t know that goes wrong with the healthcare of Veterans and the VA, it isn’t funny. Note: No Veteran can sue the government, because you can’t sue yourself. This is the way it’s considered with the government 'We the people'.
I'm a Vietnam Veteran. You wouldn't want to know about my commenets about the V.A. or this government on how we are treated after serving this country in a combat zone, and what fowllows after wards in civilian life, or during duty with their families. Now, if you are veteren who has sereved diligently you ought to have some kind of better info.
