Have to say .... this site is alive and kicking and great fun .. and would never persuade anyone to go on a date or fall in love or any of that stuff and stuff!!
Was thinking afterwards, at least it was winter and I had tights on ... otherwise the elected representative, sitting in the corner of the office, really would have had an eyeful!!!!
Had a couple of incidents today which forced me to ponder the possible pitfalls of female clothing and, (correspondingly) the lack of pitfalls when it comes to men's appareil!!
Spent a good half hour pausing the alarm this morning and trying to psyche myself into peeling back the duvet .. eventually had no option, threw myself out of bed, one foot hit the rug and the effin thing slid ... that hurt, toe slammed off wall and air became blue .. ok, you say, nothing to do with clothing but wait ... did the coffee thing, the shower thing and the dresswear choosing thing .. decided to go with the flicky wee dress and tights .. another ten mins on the edge of the bed trying to take jammies off to put on clothes .. last item the dreaded tights .. guys, you have nothing in life to worry about if you never have to wear tights ... first leg on, not a bleeding bother .. second leg .. felt a bit odd ... but WTF .. only when I got the high heelers and the jacket on and was leaving the house, I realised what the problem was .. second leg twisted .. restricting bloody flow .. now late .. do I stop and go back or press on and suffer?? Pressed on .. black ice the whole way to work ... where I live even got a special mention of AA roadwatch .. black ice, freezing fog etc, etc, twisted tight helped to concentrate on road .. had to remedy when I got to office .. went to loo, took tights off and straightened things out ... god, that felt good .. walked back into shared office .. walked to end of room ... conscious of looks from colleagues .. basking in the glow of their warm feelings for me ... sat at desk, received email, opened email .. .. 'don't want to upset you but just to let you know .. you have just walked the entire length of the office with your dress tucked into your knickers .. nice knickers, nice tights ... but ..' when I finished reading email ... looked up, stood up, adjusted dress to thunderous applause!!!
What item of men's clothing could cause so much hassle???? Tell me, please????
