An old friend from here just told me to let everyone know Travel lodge is a €25 taxi ride away from the meet. Just a heads up it's a expensive taxi ride when there is places closer
Ask her how she does it, I don't go out drinking at weekends. I pay a hell of a lot more in rent than €30 a week and I have a medical condition and has long before I went on lone parent.

I would love to see it, I live with one child and its tough going to make it stretch, can you ask them how they do it? Tell them to get in contact as well because something is wrong if they get €188 for themselves and a child or 2.
Every body is so sure it can be done...............has anyone asked the person that was working up till last year can it be done when they can't live on €188 a week.
I hate when this pops up as it makes my blood boil, yes there are some people taking the piss outta social welfare but not all of us. I want to work even if I was no better off at least I am paying my own way, the number of times I applied for a job and never hear back is countless.
I wonder how many writing these stupid pieces know how hard it is to live on welfare and even harder when you have a child to care for. I have to budget very carefully so that if I am lucky I can save €20 euro a week for stuff like clothes, birthdays and wee one's holy communion next year. Now it has already been said if I am that poor stop getting internet...........hello all my bills are done internet banking coz so many banks have closed and moved miles from where I live.
so far this year I have managed to save for and buy turf as I can't afford oil, school stuff for herself, presents for loved ones and still saving like mad so that she can have a nice communion next year.
Cut my payment and something is going to give, either I will have to stop using ESB or the car or stop eating
Childcare is a joke, I live 6 miles from her school but I have to pay €200 a year for bus that was free if you had a medical card up till last year. Oh and before anyone gives out about me getting free medical I do have a medical condition and always had a medical card its not coz I am on welfare
oh god if i didnt die from shock buy house that i live in, pay off my friend's bills take my baby away on holidays and buy her stuff oh god imagine the things you could but the bother you would have from people begging and so on
