I totally agree, a child should be allowed to learn at his/her ability instead of pushed and taught to hate learning. Once you hate the learning process you can't get out of their fast enough and I'm living proof of that, left school at 13 convinced I was stupid and went back to college at 33 and now have a degree.
I don't care if she's a doctor or a cleaner as long as she's happy.
I've had talks with the school already about her homework and the fact she is finding stuff hard but it's like banging my head off as wall. I was more or less told I should be careful what I say, I told the principal that it was my private page and who ever it was should have come to me. My page is private to friends only so it's narrowed down a bit but I can't ask each person individually.
