RE: DOES SIZE MATTER??

laugh Trust Mama D to tell it how it is!

It does sorta kinda matter, if the guy has lack of skill then it's pretty much all he has to fall back on!

Mrs. Brown's boys.

This could be true! I saw her at the ha'penny inn about a year ago. The buzz was that she was his sister. *Tut* if you can't trust a pub full of drunk Irish men who can you trust?! laugh

RE: so...........

Out of all the musicians I know I have the most respect for the harp players, that instrument is hands down the one that takes the most skill. It's like trying to tame a banshee!

RE: so...........

Oddly you're only about the 2345th man I've heard say that! laugh

Mrs. Brown's boys.

Tommy is a legend, I adore him! I saw his sister in a comedy club in Dublin once, unfortunately she's not inherited his genius. She was alright, but I think everyone was expecting her to be as great as her bro.

Mrs. Brown's boys.

I'm glad you understand laugh

So who are your favourite comedians?

Jason Byrne is pretty hilarious and Stewart Francis! They crack me up!

RE: so...........

I am a classically trained cellist, but I don't spend anywhere near enough time playing.

Other than that... Being out, with friends, walking, water sports, anything that makes me feel like I don't spend too much time on the computer laugh

What music do you play?

Mrs. Brown's boys.

Well I think it rather whimsical and wonderful to presume that people are as hilarious as the actors who play them until I am proven otherwise and I have plenty of common sense. Enough common sense to know you're not hilarious or funny at all moping

Mrs. Brown's boys.

About 5 years ago when I very first went to Dublin with my best friend (she is from Galway but moved over here) I got off the boat and said "I'm not leaving until I see a priest driving a flymo around a small island at 2mph!" What I thought to be the most obvious Father Ted link went straight over her head! She said when they were growing up it was banned in their house because so many people found it offensive. Thankfully it seems to have found a place in the Irish hearts!

Dylan Moran is a stroke of genius, I love how his routines mainly revolve around booze! thumbs up laugh

RE: Are you a white caucasion or an open to all type of person?

Oooooo *cringe* Can't believed you used that pun! laugh

Mrs. Brown's boys.

I agree it may be the best sitcom since father Ted, we need more of it over here. I would say another priest based one but nothing could match our Ted and Dougal laugh

Mrs. Brown's boys.

Has the reception been good over there? Here in the UK everyone is loving it, it's spreading like wild fire laugh I think it's hilarious, but I was wondering if the Irishh themselves find it funny, or is it just another stereotypical portrayal?

RE: Are you a white caucasion or an open to all type of person?

I am English, lived in Wales for years and have a soft spot for the Irish! If that doesn't make me open to multiculturalism then I don't know what does laugh

RE: Ch 4

To be honest I'm finding it hard myself... I feel queasy...

RE: Ch 4

Yes, I just read online that involves a murder case. I agree however, it mystifies me how someone can get to that state. Who would sacrifice their health and well being for a few too many caloric indulgences?

RE: Woman on Woman !

So.... Much.... Inuendo....!!

laugh

RE: Ch 4

No, but thanks to your post I am going to watch it on ch4 +1

laugh

These things fascinate me! I mean every woman during her life will go between weights but something that extreme I find so hard to understand. I love ch4 documentaries, they are always bizarre!

RE: Woman on Woman !

Talk about good times!!!

Now all we have to do is locate her and convince her this idea is the perfect way forward!

laugh

RE: Woman on Woman !

If you two are getting it together I would like an invite laugh

*there will be no corners left at this point!*

RE: Woman on Woman !

I think it's unlikely unless you can flown in from Cambodia! Having said that, giving a child from that background the life she has to offer is something pretty damn good I think...

P.s...

If you do manage to pass yourself off as a Cambodian orphan to Angie can you make sure to tell her you have a sister in Wales?!

laugh

RE: Woman on Woman !

Julianne Moore, Rachel Weisz, Shania, Gillian Anderson... my list is rather comprehensive so I'll stop there!

love

RE: Touts ? Grasses ? or are we growing up as a Nation ?

Hi Ray wave

It is still theft whichever way you look at it, but you have a point, where will the money saved actually be spent?

RE: Survival rate

@Tusie, yes it should be out year! I feel quite positive about it actually, after last years nonsense!

@Vin, I think I may start posting more again, it's a good way to pass time isn't it? Also I think I was being stroppy about the new layout, but it's grown on me haha x

RE: Survival rate

Hey vinny wave

How are you doing? Hope you're well (:

I don't use the forums much anymore, they have gotten even MORE bizarre than when I initially left. Full of trolls it seems!

RE: Survival rate

Hey Tusie wave

I survived! Just about, was a bit lonely however even with family around as you say.

RE: What does it mean when irish girl / woman says.........

RE: THE IDEA OF JOKING

RE: THE IDEA OF JOKING

Have I really been away so long?!

YES, I love emo's lips

giggle

RE: pale faces

Hmm. Well... I have met quite a few people from here, all of them lovely! But the one pale face, who only sent pictures privately... Turned out to be married! So based on experience only I would suggest something to hide?

RE: men

I went on a facebook anti-man rant yesterday, I was so upset with someones behaviour. But, you can't tar everyone with the same brush so they say.
