I have been there a 100 times or more and it's the worst feeling.

When I feel lost, I go out at every opportunity. Never say no to going somewhere, or doing something socially. The way to find yourself is to be around others, see how you interact, learn about the way you behave. Get into conversations and listen to your own responses. It's easy to be alone when you feel like this, to turn in on yourself, but don't do it!

Oh I have had too many to mention! The problem isn't having the idea, it's not having anyone to talk you out of it!

One that sticks in my mind is going camping on a whim with a few mates, in september... Taking nothing but wine, an insufficient tent, our dogs, more booze, and some crisps! Was grim... Until we drank ourselves in to some sort of comedy happiness, and everything seemed hilarious. But it was still cold, wet, and generally a bad idea

I can usually find words in a heart beat but he is such a great talker! He works in the film industry so was very deep with his interpretations of film noir and world cinema, I was lost!! Great memories were made non the less haha

Depends on your views of alcohol I suppose.

If the man can keep down a job, and his family (does he have a wife or kids?) aren't suffering because of it (e.g he's not there because he is at the pub, or financially they're struggling cus of the booze)...

Then fair play I say. If the man can handle his drink, let him drink... if he can't... let him drink anyway and he'll be passed out and quiet before ye know it!
