What brought this thread to mind was i was talking to a man from Kerry on here last night and he asked me about my dating experiences on here as i told him i was a member for over two years.......... when i told him i had only three to talk about he thought it was a bit funny, why so few dates
Anyway he went on to tell me about his and he said that out of the ones he dated that two of them were total loopers ........
so have you any funny stories to share No need to name names as that would be unfair
1. One cuppa tea with a neighbour.
2. A couple of afernoon coffee dates with a nice gentleman, no spark. He wanted more than friendship so that was the end of it.
3. Met with a friend with whom I had been mailing and talking on phone for months, by staying over in his house for the weekend. Of course the dog joined me. He's a good friend, so no romancing involved and I had no doubts what so ever to do that. If I had, I had not gone.
And anyway, the dog is not a lapdog but a real guard.
4. Met another friend from nearby for a walk on the beach and lots of talking, we had a cuppa in my house afterwards.
Wow, I have been active!
Absolutely no loonies nor any funny stories. I only meet nice people.
I think I have been here for about a year and a half, but not quite sure. Is there a way to check the date?

But i forgot to mention i meet up with a German man from here when i first joined
he comes to Ireland every year and he is coming again in June and i will meet him, this will my third year.......... his CS name is Cuchulain ( i am not giving away names here as i asked his permission, he knows i talk about us being friends on the forums) and he is a lovely man. He might even be here for the Donegal meet
