I think that Match has it right .......... in that, the younger generation would be more willing and open than say, people my age Mac

So a persons race would matrer to you??
As for marriage, i'm sure it would be the same, if i spent a few years with somebody and loved them and thought i wanted to spend the rest of my life with them then i can't see how a persons race would change how i feel.....
I prefer to stick to my own race.....the human race!

I can give you an honest answer to that Mac ................ i have only ever dated white caucasions.......... 99% of which were Irish so i have no idea !!!

I think i should add that i have not closed my mind to dating people from other races ................it has just never happened that i found myself attracted to anyone from another race.....

I'd ride a foreign wan no problem have had a polish wan, a lithuanian wan and a Black wan from Gambia but my preference for marriage would be Irish..you have to keep the paddies together

Some people are just scared, intimidated by friends, family or society to date other races..It's not an issue in Britain any more as it used to be years ago and it doesn't really matter to me...

I never said i did not find them attractive ............. what i said was i am older and from an age where the people that i came in contact with in my younger days were 99% white caucasiun ............... having said that i lived for years in London where they were people of every race to be found, but i was living with my husband to be then and for years after ................... so i may have seen more races than you have but was not looking at them with dating mind............... so that is where we differ IMO

That is because the UK was multi racial long before Ireland was ............. do you agree, we are playing catch up in lots of ways ............

@Red highlight ................ That is a simple answer,i was not looking for a man at the time i was living around other races !!!
@Blue hilight ................. Of course age has something to do woith it ............ life did not begin when you or i were born, over the ages it has been moving and changing and when i was younger their was not that many different races living in Ireland as there was when you were born .............. and there sure as hell is a lot more living here on the 4th Jan 2012 ........and there will be more still as the years roll on !!!!!!!!!
