Marriage, now that I've been married and have since been separated for the past 3 years my opinion of it has changed. I don't think I'll ever get married again.....but I can't say for certain. Although my marriage didn't work and I'm very sad about that, I don't think the act of getting married is important. I used to believe that it was the one thing I really wanted in life was to be someone's wife, somehow I thought it would make me more mature or show people I was truly loveable. I'm older now.....I know I'm loveable and even growing up so I doubt I'll make the same hasty decision to marry so that I feel like I'm a part of some greater thing. I am part of greater thing now by just living life and doing it on my own!
I think if you have an unidentifiable name in MSN or Yahoo that doesn't give your true last name you could exchange e-mails. It's a lot easier to communicate in that type of messenger than it is within a site. I've gone it and have not had any problems with it. Although, I have had the odd one who appears too anxious to meet me and I won't offer my private e-mail cause I get a funny feeling it's a little more than just a "chat" their looking for! LOL Since being on this site though, I have never experienced that and I'm really glad! I've chatted with some very nice people on this site! :)
Here's a question....what do you make of a guy contacting a girl by sending flowers and e-mails and when you respond they've blocked you? LOL Hmmmm What's that? :)
Screamn, I came to this site to meet people and share some laughs no where did it saying anything at all about having to take part in debates about anything especially religion. I'm sure that there are other sites on the internet that are set up for just such a thing if that's an interest for you. When you decide to insult people by saying that they are "immature" then maybe it's time to re-think what your motives are.
Hi there all! I have been reading some of the threads recently....I'm rather new to this site. This is the first time I've posted and after reading what you had to say Abra I had to respond. You are absolutely right. It may not happen with all women but it happens more often than not with the "bad guy" situation and the "good guy" always seeming to finish last.
