I've only recently started using a bag on a regular basis,so now I always carry.......
A small diary A pen My mobile phone An emery board (nail file) A lipstick A small mirror My purse A small wallet that holds bank/store cards etc. A small pkt of tissues Sunglasses Safety pins Paracetamol or any meds I need to take while I am out. A compact umbrella if rain is forecast There's usually a shop receipt or two lurking in the bottom of my bag too.....
I'm sure I've forgotten something...will have to go and check my bag now.....
Well, I've just finished reading "Time's Legacy" I was a little bit disappointed with it though. Usually when I read Barbara Erskines books,I can't put them down, this one wasn't like that.
Eating the chocolate buttons that my grandson left in the fridge......well,they have been there for a week. Looks like I'll be replacing them tomorrow.......mmmmmm,they tasted so nice too
Never thought that piece of paper would be of any value....now you mention it, it could be I suppose.....who would I have to contact in the first instance to get some idea of its value.
I like charity shops too. I usually look in them for some old lace and jewellery to use in my mixed media crafting....found some old lace once wrapped around a folded piece of paper. When I took the lace off the paper to wash it I found the piece of paper was dated in 1947 and there was info about the war written on it,still got that piece of paper.
Tripped UP my stairs, bumped my chin....jeeze what a clutz....got a small carpet burn on it now, that'll get the neighbours tongues wagging when I go out.....
I don't fancy anything too heavy,so decided I shall have a mushroom omelette and then have some Ben and Jerry's ice cream, got a tub of their caramel chew flavoured one in the freezer....
Yes,it's illegal now to pick the flowers, not even allowed to go primrose picking anymore. As a child I used to love getting mum some wild flowers, especially the bluebells.
