How bloody low can these looters stoop,they've robbed a charity shop that helps children in Romania......just goes to show they have no respect for anything or anyone.
I saw a clip on the One Show tonight,a man being interviewed on the street and he was saying that these kids are doing the rioting and looting because there is nothing for them to do,ie,no clubs,youth clubs etc.....what a bloody shame, weren't many in my day,or my children's day,but they didn't turn to rioting and looting!
My heart went out to all those lovely people who cleaned up the streets today,(not just in London,but Liverpool too)they have such pride in where they live,it really must be devastating for them to see it in such a sorry mess.
Yesterday and today there was definately a slight chill in the air....I also noticed how quickly the nights are drawing in over the last week or so. I can remember how our summers could go on right through September and then have what was commonly called an Indian Summer in October!
I do believe our seasons are earlier than they used to be, but not being very scientifically minded, I have no answer for that......although I do recall 50yrs ago a teacher telling me that our planet is spinning ever so slightly off kilter and eventually we will have a reverse of seasons,ie.our summers will become our winters. Maybe I should have paid more attention in school all those years ago.
I heard on the news that there are a lot of children involved in the riots,some as young as 11yrs old! As a parent wouldn't you keep your child safe indoors while the rioting is going on,I'm sure I would. Also on the news there have been over 215 arrests....there are a third more police being drafted in to help get things under control. I say bring in the tear gas,Tasers,rubber bullets, that would disperse the rioters...this softly,softly approach is having no effect.
Do you smoke TC? if so that could be the reason your cold keeps re-occurring. Some one I know has been smoking cheap tobacco and they keep getting sore throats.
On the other hand,it could be your sinuses, my grandson has been coughing and sneezing all over the place,but hasn't got a full blown cold.
Afternoon Wow Yes, filters are in place,they are coming from all over the U.K.recently, London,Kent,Bristol etc. I block each one after I've sent them another scammers email address.
Nice new set up on C.S.....but those damned scammers are still coming through thick and fast.....I've had more message me in the last 2wks than I have in the last 6mths, they are like ants!
Thank you for your reply, it's interesting that some people are so sensitive that they can tune in. Unfortunately for me, my concentration level is low, so that wouldn't apply in my case.
Positive thinking, I'm not convinced on that theory, too much like wishful thinking maybe, just my opinion of course,not to trash anything you've said.
There's a likely hood that repeatedly doing mundane things could give the deja vu effect to some people, from my own experience that hasn't been the case.
As for your fourth theory....I do wonder if we have a split second insight to the past or future.
I may be missing something here, if I am then please let me know.
As I read it,members can rate up or down threads/posts if they like/dislike them. The O.P. can hide posts on their thread if he/she dosen't like/is offended by them.
I also read members do not have to rate each thread/post.
So how come I have just read 2 comments on 2 separate threads,one asking advice, the other a lighthearted comment, none of which was offensive, rude,nasty etc, yet they have been marked down.
Is there someone who just for the hell of it, pops on and rates down threads/comments because they have nothing better to do.
