It is a weird habit to break. I still feel like I am only one cigarette away from being a smoker again sometimes. But luckily I have kept away from that one.

I couldn't get beyond the fact that this story/fable/rendering underpins one of the basic facets of humans in that we often shy away from accepting responsibility for our actions thus bringing about the downfall of all. Adam couldn't accept responsibility and blamed Eve for 'making' him sin. Eve couldn't accept responsibility and blamed the serpent for 'enticing' her to do wrong. The snake no doubt cast blame on the apple just for 'being'. So, in the end, everyone comes out a bad guy. It's the story of the history of man/womankind.

Groovy....a bit rainy, but groovy. I'm in relatively good health, I don't live in political unrest, I bought myself things I absolutely did not need today and drank a bit of wine....Yup...groovy...

I have two F...U... bags that are always packed and ready to go. One has all the things I would need if I want to stay overnight somewhere, i.e. change of clothes, toiletries, pyjamas and the other has my passport, money, deed to my home, insurance, personal ID and documents. I'd grab these 2 things. Not very romantic, but very practical...
