Many many plants can be grown from clippings - try it and see - I am no expert, but one of the easiest is the geranium - if a leaf breaks off just put in the group - and voila - a whole new plant = ain't nature wonderful!

Ran the repair permissions thingy again and will see how it goes, but it is definitely happier today.

Greg I am sure I did this and ran the first aid - it came up with a list a mile long, but I had no idea what to do then - whether it had fixed anything or was just listing what need fixing - it didn't elucidate at all either. even the manual was useless!

back to google I guess...Thanks.

MAC computer - HELP!

Might just have fixed the problem!!

on a search, forums mention soooo many fixes, but one suggested the simple act of closing the machine down instead of putting it to sleep, can assist - and it did....for now

Let's hope it stays that way.

Thanks all for your thoughts so far - I have used a utility clean-up whatsy too - to no avail. Have been online doing searches, but will keep trying - some of the answers they provide are so frigging technical!

Might have to get a techie in yet, but still trying to work it out myself for now.

MAC computer - HELP!

I have a MAC and it is doing strange things - running very slowly or the icon is spinning too long or my typing just disappears for a second or two - I have downloaded clean up MAC software, but nothing has changed - I have cleaned out the cache and cookies.

I am no techie, especially not with a MAC.

Can anyone help please?

Yep, I am the same - coming from a family where my dad was/is an emotional guy, I understand how and why this happens when emotions are high - if someone doesn't feel that, and I guess I am talking about guys in particular from my viewpoint, then I tend to think their emotions in life and love might be wanting too.

And that just won't do - for me anyway.
