Thanks Martia, I am going through some of the old forums and getting some good information. I have received a few emails from people as well. So it would seem there are people out there that have yet to be scammed. It is interesting that some users actually enjoy stringing the schemers along for a ride. Anyway, stay vigilant and thanks again for your time.
I've heard it is essential to have a wing man. Some one that will scope out your date before you meet them and ring you during the date with a reason to escape. There is definitely a lot of subterfuge to dating.
Martia, i don't deny that I am naive, but my internet address cost me nothing and if it gets overwhelmed with scams and spam, I will simply shut it down. You sound like you have some experience with scammers. I would be interested in your experiences.
Hello all, I am going to write a book on the rules of Internet dating and I am looking for some input. I am looking for humorous stories or horror stories. Do's and don'ts. What makes a good or bad profile. Acronyms and their meanings. Success stories or psychos I have met. Personal opinions of different sites and the people who frequent them. Scam stories or urban myth stories. If you would like your profile name included please let me know. Please feel free to post your personal experiences or email me at tagg72@gmail.com, if the embarrassment is too much for publication.
Dave Hughes, "Why do they call it a bean bag when it is full of balls. It should be called a ball bag." I can't sit on a bean bag without having a chuckle any more.
