You're right, hunters COULD get an animal/fish infused with chemicals. On the other hand, if you get meat at the grocery store, you ARE! getting meat infused with chemicals.
I would agree with you as to the "trophy" hunting. I'm very much against hunts, strictly for "trofies", while leaving the meat to rot. I would bet you would find many, MANY hunters that feel the same way. As to you second point. That is the most ridiculous analogy I've ever heard. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY!, would call killing Indians from a chopper "hunting. That's called MURDER!!!! That being said, I'm sure when you were made these "offers", you imediately notified the athorities, or some human rights organization. GOOD FOR YOU, if you did. If not you are in no position to criticize anyone.
I think it was most likely an accidental launch. If it were a test, or a demo, or even sabre rattling, they would have had a plausable (maybe not true) story ready. But a misfire would catch them unprepared, and in no hurry to admit that a weapon of that magnitude could accidently "go off"
I'd like to thank everyone for their suggestions. I'm going to try out your remedies (don't know about WD40, but maybe) and sometime in the future I'll post and let you know how they worked.
I forgive quickly, to a point. repeated disrespect, or one deliberate malicious act, and I don't forgive, I forget that person. No hard feelings no baggage, they're just gone.
I only know the details you have given here, and my moral compass. I feel it is more humane to finish a mortaly wounded man if there is no way to get medical attention, than it would be to leave him to suffer and die slowly. However in this ridiculously PC climate, the gov. nor the military is ever going to get behind this. They won't run the risk of being accused of giving trigger happy yahoos the green light to execute wounded enemies at their disgression.
wait a minute, are you saying that whites aren't the cause of all the worlds problems? And neither are Blacks, or Asians, or Hispanics? You seem to be implying that all races have done good and bad. And your suggestion of the races working together... Well... you just blew my mind.
This will sound crazy. The rules differ state. English is taught in our schools, but many are required to provide Spanish speaking teachers for children who don't speak English. Their classes are taught in Spanish, with English as one of their subjects. In my home town there is an area where all the residents are hispanic, complete with a church sponcered school. Many of the people in this area have lived their entire lives 20, 30, 50 yrs. and speak little or no English. And there are similar stories all over the country.
This is a prime example of how out of control this PC crap has gotten. The mans point was about assimilation, he happened to use Muslims as his example. I don't think he meant any offense. with all the real problems in the world, do we really need to split hairs like this
The only way speaking ones mind can work, is if all parties are willing to open their mind to new ideas, hear what's being said, and be willing/able to accept the possibility they could be wrong. Clearly, you won't be at that table.
the bottom line is humans, of all races are ROTTEN by nature. I'm not pointing the finger at individuals, or any particular group, just in general. We have brutalized others, as well as our own since the begining, and continue to do so. But don't lose hope, we've made tremendous strides in 50,000 years, and can continue to do so. But dwelling on past injustice, pointing fingers, and asigning blame hampers our progress. We each must take personal responsibility for our actions every day, and make an honest effort to be better tommorow than we are today. We have a long road ahead, but we can make it,but only if, we understand that no one owes us anything, and nothing worth haveing is free.
