My ex was like that...he'd say different things when he was drunk, sometimes he would even get drunk in order to feel comfortable enough to tell me stuff. When I would confront him about it later, sometimes he would backpedal, sometimes he would just say "yeah" and close off the topic. He wasn't very good at talking and often needed to be drunk in order to communicate...then he would get too drunk to effectively communicate...it was a no-win situation with him.
My brother...he is my younger brother, but the way he handled things that happened to him taught me a certain kind of strength. The boy is made up of steel iron inside. He showed me what true willpower is like. He was there when my mom suffered her heart attack and called 911 and never lost his composure. If he hadn't reacted the way he did, my mother would no longer be alive today. He also did the same thing for me when I fell off a horse and hit my head (had a seizure too)...he's incredibly strong.
If you push someone who isn't ready to have a serious relationship, that person may start to resent you or even push you farther away. Or at least, thats how I am...lol
I own a '79 Convertible Super Beetle (which is still in the States) and then I owned a 2002 Golf TDI (which I sold shortly before moving here). I also owned a '69 Jeepster Commando. Now, what I have here are my two feet. Would love to own a Mini one day, or the new Jeep Wrangler, or a 3 series BMW.
